Bell/Innova Inertia 700c Bicycle Tire Review

Know this is a old post.but those tires are still out there on feebay etc They are still Junk tread separated after 5 months light use.

One of my brothers left me his road bike. He had some Michelin tires on it. I really like those tires. Check those out. I think those are the only tires I have ever liked. I ended up sending him the bike when we had to move. Not to mention I kept the bike outside and the tires didn't degrade like many of my mountain bike tires always have. As for the tube it's probably just old and degraded that's why you see it that way.

I too bought a bike with innova tires featuring a Kevlar belt . I got a flat the second day. It wasn't a blow out like yours, just a puncture. But I expect more from Kevlar belt. I see no evidence of a Kevlar belt. I believe these tires are junk .

Cut the bad section out and use a butt joint, you can have a skinny 19-20 inch tube! Are there date codes on bike tires, you may have gotten a slightly senior one, all of the tire problems I have had were age related. Good luck with the other one!

Thank you for letting us know about defective or poor or bad quality products I myself ride a bicycle to get around to sometimes in the small town that I live in and it is nice to hear about I partake but is a poor quality or just plain bad so we can avoid having problems like you did I have a swin cruiser bike that is made of aluminum frame with aluminum rims it has Chrome fenders and I book rack behind the seat and it is red and white paint scheme and has a 6-speed gears and hand brakes the bicycle looks like one of those ones that they made in the 1950s but it's brand new I bought it in 2008 at Walmart kind of a bigger larger bike that is lightweight because of the aluminum frame and rims with all Black Balloon tires that are kind of on the larger size I mean for how wide they are sometimes I do a lot of riding I do enjoy riding a bicycle great video nice tip about tires who knew that would happen your tool friend Brian Williams Guthrie Oklahoma thanks again take care and I'll see you later

Thanks for the video! Saved me from buying "Bell" to replace the bubbled-up Innova (any advise on more-durable brands is welcome!). As a note - Innova reliably served me fine for 2 years (~240lbs) at ~50psi, but this winter I got indoor-bike-rollers.... on those - even the 60psi wasn't enough to operate (surface contact area is much smaller than on the roads - blocks the rotation, tire needs to be almost-rock-hard), but before I even approached it to pump it further to 75psi - it bubbled up on the side same way as yours on video...

I just got these and had one of mine give out while installing brand new. Popped a brand new $8 tube just like that. I wish I had seen this video beforehand. These things are junk
