I saw this live at the time on Pebble Mill whislt home from school sick. I was 15. I never forgot the song and heard it on the radio often. I recorded it from the radio and forgot to write down the names. The decades went by and I lost the tape, but never forgot the song and its lyrics. In 2009 somebody suggested it might be Madeline Bell. I found her website and left a message. A few days later I got a phone call. It was Madeline Bell calling me from a wedding in Germany!!! She confirmed it was her song with Martin and gave me the details. What can I say about this woman that has not been said in my last sentence. Thanks to her I now onn the CD, Love you forever Madeline! xx

This track is taken from a Brilliant album. I waited so long for this to be released on CD & finally the equally Brilliant Angel Air Records did the honours. David Martin is a hugely talented artist/singer/songwriter & this track along with East Side, West Side is one of my own personal favourites. Well worth purchasing. Buy the music & support the artist.

@Davidvincentt Hi there David, Lexi is my sister and i was the drummer in Remember This. Since she asked about the source of the Martin and Bell song she has been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia, and sadly she died just last week, just three days after being discharged from hospital where she had been treated for and actually beat the Covid-19 virus that has caused so much havoc around the world. You say you have the full recording of this show, is there anyway you could upload the video, it would be wonderful for her two very young grandchildren to see and hear her as she was in her prime.
