Apollo is our 11-year-old, pure-bred Friesian he is a good horse for a beginner rider. He has a lovely collected canter and is a great farter. He is herd leader over Farouk who is a pure-bred Arabian horse, Farouk is 9 years old and loves galloping and is a good endurance horse. He is the Grandson of the famous Marwan Al Shaqab and then there is Princess Bella a Four-Year Old pure-bred Andalusian filly her speciality is bucking and jumping for joy.

Hello Tara, It's great you asked Bella to stand and look at what was making her fearful. Standing, looking considering and slowly realizing it is not going to eat me after all, is a kinder and gentler way of helping a young horse identify what they really do not need to be afraid of :) Nice work :)

Lots to think about today for our lovely Bella. Thank goodness you are on high alert Tara because you just never know what curve ball Bella might throw. As usual, with your reassurance she can move on from nasty gates and daleks and other monsters. She does like little jumps doesn't she, she is so good at them as well? 😊❤😊

Tara, I think Bella might have made a good eventer! She sure loves to run and jump! Glad you didn’t lose your stirrups! Such a good girl that she stopped on the voice! Great training at the Daleck! Bella is doing great, and those ears were turning back to listen to Mom, complete with a couple of head and eye checks, as if to ask are you sure Mom?, then proceeds on. Agree with the commentors, Bella is unique! One of a kind, the breeders did not know what they had.

That was a surprise over that pole on the ground! As you said normally Bella has been sensible and conservative just a wee pop, and to put in a jump like that! No wonder she got giddy for a bit 😳😊 girl surprised herself as well as you I think...Getting a spook over the dead Daleks is not so surprising, Bella is used to them standing up, they moved and so were not to be trusted... She learned and she is so smart she will likely remember...

oh goodness....so used to the bomb proof Apollo, know and expect skittishness out of Farouk, Bella's been pretty calm until she wasn't. LOl Oh goodness. Youth....

Bella is feeling full of herself! And I'm very happy you didn't come adrift! Bella has never struck me as being a hurdler, as she has neither Apollo's build in the hindquarters, nor have I seen her exhibit the exuberant ion that Apollo does when he's flying, the Hallmark of a natural jumper. Bella has always hit me like Farouk: Okay, the Bosslady wants it, so I do it. Seeing Bella actually set herself to jump of her own volition, even changing gaits on her own, would be a definite shock! I wonder what that means for future hacks..... Oh, as a former flyer, Bella did fairly well for herself - hurdling and landing with passenger is much different than doing it by herself, and Bella managed it without appearing to bobble the landing.
