I think the shock and horror people experience when watching the birth in this movie is only a fraction of the emotion I experienced as a young teen reading the book for the first time, lying on my bed at night, rapt and unable to put it down. Definitely a standout literary experience in my life. It's so much more interesting when experienced from Bella's perspective

There actually were subtitles on the convos between eddie and cleaning lady. Not sure why you didnt get them. It was something along the line of Lady: gasp, wtf did you do you weirdo?! Also Seth is a good boi Never really understood the team Edward/team Jacob thing or people hating on Edward by arguing he's a creepy, controlling, old man because even as a kid I was fully aware Twilight is fiction and shouldn't be a model for real life. And Jacob is just as problematic as Edward. Seriously, Jacob is also controlling and sexually assaulted Bella. Remember when he kissed her without consent in Eclipse? And how he threatened suicidal recklessness in Eclipse? And how he blows up at her for her informed choices that he has no business giving her grief over? Mm-hmm. So if I had to pick a team, I'd say team Edward because if I'm supporting Bella with a problematic supernatural being, it better be the one SHE chooses
