I have a nerve disease in my legs and hips, which makes sitting up very hard, but I always did crafts and art. I got my mom to show me how to crochet so I could still have something to do and make when I am bedridden for days at a time. She only showed me the granny stitch. It's the way she had made blankets etc before, never anything fancier. I found your videos shortly after I finished my first lap blanket and love that there are so many different patterns I can now use. I have watched some other people's tutorials and they do not explain, or move as precise and slow as you so people can learn easily. You are a wonderful teacher and have given me so many new ways to do something I have come to enjoy. Thank You!

CJ Jankovics I love this channel, too! I would like to recommend another channel that has clear instructions and that is Creative Grandma. Just like Bella Coco, she keeps in mind that not all of us are advanced crocheters. ☺️

I just wanted to say I hope you have more better days then bad moving forward. I’m happy you found crocheting and this (and hopefully others) so your creativity will know mo bounds. I too have physical issues that lay me up for long periods, thankfully not as painful as I’m sure yours is, but I started to pass time and now I can’t go a day without creating something. I hope your doing well and still crocheting! 💜🙏💜

You have very good quality videos in my opinion. I love the editing work where you let us know what row we're on, and the boxes that summarize the row pattern and remind us to pause. One of the best crochet videos I've seen so far.

I love your tutorials, I’ve always been crafty and have done tapestry, cross stitch and latchhook rugs. I then started papercrafting when my kids were babies, they’re 19 and 15 now. A few years ago I took up jewellery making but knitting and crochet had always been my downfall. I had a grandma who crocheted and my mum is a knitter but no matter how many times I tried I just couldn’t get my head round either I turned 50 last year and decided at Christmas I was going to teach myself to crochet as I’ve always wanted to make a blanket, I found your channel and I have a whole new hobby that I love and it’s all thanks to your lovely way of breaking things down that the basics are going in. I got some small 25g ball of yarn and I use them to learn the new stitches with before I go on to my decent yarn lol. I’m waiting rather impatiently for my first Bella Coco box and I can’t wait to see what is in it. Thank you so much for your time and effort that you’ve put into your channel and I look forward to your new videos. Regards Jayne x

So, despite the confusing terms (double meaning single and treble meaning double) i finally learned this stitch.. you explained and demonstrated it very clearly. I, for the life of me, couldn't seem to grasp it with any other video and was at the point of thinking about how stupid i am and was ready to kick my own arse, considering i usually learn things quickly.. thank you!

What a beautiful stitch! I've just bought several skeins of a cotton & bamboo #2 weight ("fine") yarn, in a lovely silver-gray. I'm going to double it, work with an 8mm hook, and after doing a scarf or cowl to get the feel of the stitch, I think I'll make a cocoon cardigan. Thank you for all of your crochet videos, and the clarity of your tutorials. Your work is greatly appreciated. 💖💐
