@@jessicakabelwelter2774 yeah, in most cases the police can't actually do something unless somebody actually touches you or your property. Like if somebody was stalking you it could be argued that they're allowed to be nearby you (especially if they don't do or say anything to you), because that's not a crime. Which is sad because a lot of people end up assaulted, kidnapped or dead because THAT'S the only point when the police can actually step in.

...If I were the Police, I would of pulled all the office records from her apartment/condo complex (and the adjacent one where her car was found) to see who works in restaurants; at the mall, at Universal, at Disney...custodians, waiters, sous chefs, dish-washers...AND, yes, secondly, "construction." That's some kind of a deal those construction workers got - to have "free" housing right at the same condo complex! Wonder if the office manager got a little extra money from saying, "yes" to the boss of those construction men?!? Surely, a foreman or contractor/builder would be able to give some info regarding the men in the van outside her condo, and this film footage! Sure seems to me that it breaks some governing laws regarding housing guidelines, permits, etc., that men like that were allowed to live on premises in units not yet ready for tenants to rent/purchase! Maybe, the police looked the other way when they were told that, but I'd be suing big time, if I were a tenant! Placing all tenants in jeopardy of their safety to have such "undesirables" actually living in the units under construction?!? That's bizarre, too!

The attitude about the “lucky person of interest” frustrates me. We can clearly see it’s a white, short, male 20s-40s. That narrows it down a lot, and they should have looked more closely at the construction workers.

I'm studying Psychology and Criminology in university and I'm so fascinated with every case. I really want to understand what motivates these people and criminals to do the things that they do, because motive and mental health is everything when it comes to murder and disappearances. I do agree with Bella that it's very likely one of the construction workers had something to do with Jennifer's disappearance/murder but it's so difficult to think of WHY they'd want to do that.....like why on earth would a construction worker be like "I see this woman, I'm going to figure out her schedule and then randomly kill her and dispose of her in this neighborhood" and it's so hard to see how they would benefit from Jennifer dying, you know? Personal homicides are way easier to understand because of the relationship and the emotion involved, but why someone random? It's so strange to me...I hate unsolved cases!!!

Anyone think the person from the car was walking carefully because they knew the shutter time on the cameras at the complex? Maybe someone who worked there or someone who had access to the cameras?
@deniz63386 жыл бұрын
Jayne exactly what I was thinking. It was for sure planned, they knew her timetable so they must know what pace to walk at
@Alaia3176 жыл бұрын
That’s a good point, but I do think it would be very risky and easy to accidentally walk at the “wrong” pace. That being said, I don’t think an abductor would purposely take that chance.

I really don't get why the cops don't treat adult missing cases seriously unless there's blood or something. In America you shouldn't have to wait 24 hrs to file a missing person's case for adults. Also, I think she might be buried in the construction zone /: so sad.
@bellaorefice88546 жыл бұрын
Madison Dedmon you don't have to wait 24 hours to file a missing persons report, it's actually illegal for the police to say you have to wait a certain amount of time to file a missing persons report!

I grew up and lived in Orlando all my life until 3 years ago. I remember taking dance class and her family asked to hang fliers on the windows and doors. Where she lived was an area that was supposed to be upscale but it was in the middle of a very sketchy area - lots of drugs and gangs. The kind of place that you double check your doors are locked when you drive through. Just 2 years ago an 80yo woman was attacked and pushed down and robbed at the Millenia Mall (the one where Jennifer lived blocks from). The area is called Millenia but it's Orlando. Just not safe. But that's Orlando. Millenia is just next door to scary places. It's not only sad but scary. Orlando is also in the top 10 (as well as Tampa) places for human trafficking. Glad to see you're back! Missed your videos

I’ve been interested in this case for years. I live about 30 minutes away from where she lived and I agree with you that it seems like she vanished into thin air. Unfortunately, human trafficking is very common here in Florida. Though, besides the construction workers cat calling her, whistling at her etc that’s too far fetched to say the construction workers had anything to do with her disappearance unless they were involved in human trafficking. I read the other persons comment on how immigrant construction workers like to stay under the radar, and they most certainly do. I’m Mexican and my father has some Mexican friends who are not citizens, and they stay very low key. Like I said unless some of them were involved in human trafficking, I think it’s unlikely for the construction workers to have had anything to do with her disappearance.
@jlv8166 жыл бұрын
I agree with you about the workers having the best chance at attacking/abducting her, and I was thinking "human trafficking" pretty early on as you were laying out the details. The alligators are an interesting take too , though. Side note what lip color is that? It's stunning!

What a good idea with the cards! That should be a thing. Like each card can have a different missing person, unsolved case victim, or Doe on the back along with the basic info and what number to call. Distribute them as the main card decks in jails and prisons. It could definitely get inmates talking and get information into the hands of people willing to report. You constantly hear about inmates informing on other inmates that have confessed to them for shorter sentences or privileges. I really think this could be a huge idea!

I think that someone from her work could have been involved in her disappearance because they were jealous of her.. like you said the firm offered her 3 separate jobs because they really wanted her to work for the company, she was promoted after just a year, she was well liked by all of the staff, and staff members thought she was attractive and wanted to date her. It’s just an idea, but someone could have been so jealous of her “perfect” work life that they wanted her out of the way! Loved the video, as always💓
@kennedyrae-marie80256 жыл бұрын
I totally feel like it’s the workers??? How sketch is it that they COMPLETELY ignored her brother, asking for help and asking if they had seen her. All they had to do was shake their heads no? And if the sniffer dog lead right back to the bottom of the stairs, that’s directly by where the workers van was and wear they were at. So SKETCH. It could’ve been a cat call gone bad. So sad ): I hate this
@lauraterrones92856 жыл бұрын
Or maybe they aren’t going to lower the window to some random guy frantically yelling and banging on the van. Especially if they are undocumented and with poor English. I don’t think being undocumented and not mastering their second language should be a reason to think they did anything to her.
@biancamarya60446 жыл бұрын
Laura Terrones that's not the reason why they think it was them. She named several reasons as to why it was more than likely them.
@lauraterrones92856 жыл бұрын
Bianca yanez which are not good reason just empty speculation that leads nowhere
@lauraterrones92856 жыл бұрын
Bianca yanez ok like what I haven’t heard a “good reason” yet. I’m not saying they didn’t have anything to do with it but there is no reason or evidence of the workers doing anything.
@kimmielynn12276 жыл бұрын
I’m not saying anyone did it, but there were reports of peeping toms as well as cat calls and whistles. Her bestfriend also stated that the workers did have a key to her condo. It should be mentioned though that the reports actually say the dogs took them to her parking spot at her condo building, not the stairs.
