I just realised something REALLY WEIRD! This morning at school, I overheard someone talking about how her and her mom used to live in Orlando, closer to the sketchy area. She said one day, her mom was I think, looking out the window, and she witnessed someone being murdered and that's why they moved. I dont know if it has anything to do with this case, I doubt it does, but I just thought it was a really strange coincidence.

I wanted to say that I helped volunteer looking for Jennifer. She lived a neighborhood down from me. I lived at The Grand Reserve on Kirkman/LB McLeod. Her parents came and spoke at First Baptist Orlando and it was all I could do but not break down and cry hearing them.They were so broken. I joined the team the next day. Anyway, Orlando police are horrible. I was robbed and shot at 3 times at gun point and the police questioned me like I was in some kind of drug ring or something.I was on my way to dance rehearsals. Literally in dance wear and a high bun. (not typical drug pusher clothes, ya know?) They never found the guy who pulled the gun on me and they hardly even tried! Be careful in Orlando. I lived there and worked at Disney for over a decade and I have seen and heard the most crazy stuff. Orlando news is like watching a circus in hell.

Leigh Anne Thomas ,. Wtf you got shot 3 times and lived? Bad aim

I know right!? There was such a calm over me I was able to talk to the guy during the altercation. The first shot would have been right to my face if I had not thrown my keys and stomped his shin in. Second shot would have been to my shoulder area if the guy with me didn't push the gun away at the right moment. Last shot was the guy shooting into the air. So technically not all were direct. But the first 2 were within half an arms length away from me. He had a little 22. and held it sideways. I instantly started fighting him cause I knew he was not an avid gun handler from the way he held the gun. Only the power of God got me out of that alive.

I was born and raised in the Orlando area and I remember seeing the "missing" posters with her face on it all over town for years ever since I was young. Anyone from Orlando would recognize her face from all the pictures they hung up. The sad part was growing up and watching the posters age and fade over time because she was never found. I never knew she went to the same university that I go to now, and that makes it even crazier how close I am to such a tragic case. Hopefully we'll find out more information one day and possibly get some answers.

I’m from the Tampa Bay Area and went to the university of central Florida and my mom made me watch that same news segment before I left for college. In my junior year of school I was shopping at the Publix near ucf late and night and noticed 2 men following me around the store, I called my mom and stayed on the phone with her while my dad called the police. The men left once I found a manager to stay with so I’d be safe, but the police said that there was a major trafficking ring in Orlando that would target young women who were by themselves late at night. Because of her story I always would call my parents when I was walking to my car or apartment alone late at night. I would’ve never done that or had been as aware of my surroundings if it wasn’t for Jennifer and her parents.

This is insane. My fiance lived by the Millenia Mall, and when I saw those condos I always wanted to live there. The condos that her car was found at are super dark. My fiance lived right down the street from there. The area is super scary and dangerous. When my fiance and I were just dating, and I went to his condo I wasn't allowed outside by myself, and if I drove to his place at night, I had to wait for him to walk me from the car to the home. I remember growing up seeing her posters all over the place cause I live in the suburbs of Orlando. I remember watching her missing posters fall apart over the years and always hoped that she would be found cause I thought she had a nice smile. I am so sad to rediscover this case and find out that a lot of amazing memories of mine are in the same area as possibly someones last terrifying memories. She needs to be found. I know in the area as well there is many lakes, rivers, and thick brush. There is also an insane amount of drug dealers, druggies, and homeless people...this makes me so sad.

She is so so beautiful and sounds so sweet and genuine, which is also how her family comes off. So sad, glad they are putting pressure on the OPD and hopefully getting closer to some answers now that there is more emphasis on it! I remember watching a video on this case awhile ago but you covered it in a different way that made it not repetitive at all to hear about again, good on you. Hope she is found safe somewhere! So odd that there's such little evidence, agh so frustrating! So sad that she was so safety conscious and did so many smart things to protect herself but something still happened to her!

I just discovered your channel...love it! So glad you covered this case, it has baffled me for years. I actually lived at that complex Mosaic at Millennia from 2009-2012. You could still see her flyer occasionally on posts around town. Very eerie. Also the security gate never worked. Most of the time the arm that comes down was broken off, a lot of the time there was no one on duty at the little guard house, so if I forgot my card there was no one to help. I hope it's gotten fixed since then but the security there always left me a little uneasy.

I absolutely love your videos!!! Please do the story of the girl in the box. It’s a survival story of a girl who was trying to hitchhike and got picked up by a couple and was forced into slavery for 7 years! She was kept in a coffin like box for the majority of the time and was rapped repeatedly by the husband. She was brainwashed into believing this organization was going to kill her and her family if she left. She even went home once and the husband was there posing as her boyfriend but she was still in captivity. Finally years later the wife realized this was wrong and told her it was all a lie and she left with her two kids and the girl. He was put in jail and the wife was given amnesty.

I know this is pretty late, but I just got to the point in the video where you mention if you feel uncomfortable to call someone. I just wanted to say that it may also be a good idea to pretend like the person is coming to get you and mention exactly where you are. ("Oh, you're that close to me already? Great!") The person on the line will probably catch on and the person making you uncomfortable will probably get uncomfortable themselves if they're up to no good. I actually did this once and a man who was following me got so freaked out that he ran in the other direction.

Newly released images in a cold case involving a 24-year-old Florida business executive, who vanished in 2006, may indicate that a violent struggle unfolded before her disappearance, according to the woman’s family. Few clues were discovered when Jennifer Kesse disappeared almost 15 years ago, but her father now says that new images of her abandoned Chevrolet Malibu indicate that she may have been attacked before going missing. "It looked like someone was thrown down on the top of the hood - arms spread out and then dragged back, almost like off the hood, to the point where you can almost see fingers scribbling down the hood," Drew Kesse told Fox News. Quick Tip: . . . If you ever are walking alone at night and decided to call someone on the phone for safety while you are walking, make sure to stay alert and aware of your surroundings. Its easy to get involved in the conversation and not be AS alert to your surroundings
@isabellind12924 жыл бұрын
Well, yes, very good advice and same as when women are walking to their cars in a parking lot...day or night...stay alert of your surroundings. I don't believe the killer who stalked women at the Boca Raton, Fl. shopping mall parking lot has been caught. He would strike women in broad daylight as they were getting into their vehicles and one woman and her daughter were shot & killed. Parking lots can be a predator's playground. (Ask for a store escort to your car if you are nervous and especially at night if you're alone).

So I was living in the houses right across from Jennifer she this happened and remember this like it was yesterday. 1st of all, where we were is the brink of ghetto and upscale- literally the grey line. Facing the apartment complex, to her right is Americana Blvd, obt, it's all scetchy there. To her left was millennia mall and other malls as well as a large shopping strip. That all being said, there was no bar there unless youean blue martini at the millennia mall. The place her car was located is super sketchy. I usually stayed away from that whole area. Like you said, majority of people, even I'm that area, believe she was taken for human trafficking. That's the only thing that makes sense in all of this. Around the same time (2-3 yes later) I was walking home from the millennia area and this car full of girls stopped out of nowhere and asked me if I wanted a ride. I said no but the insisted. This happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER APARTMENT COMPLEX. I told them no again since I lived right there. I lived on the first turn once you turn into the neighborhood, so when I got a gut feeling to run, I jumped my neighbors gate (right in front of them) and headed home as fast as possible. Thanks for making a video on this and getting a good amount of the facts right. I watched a video recently about Jennifer by someone else and they put the blame on Hispanics that didn't speak English in the area, I obviously got offended. But that's beside the point. Thanks for the video.
@katarinasmith43515 жыл бұрын
Why were you offended by the comment it was Hispanics? The construction workers on her complex were mainly Hispanics (illegal at that) and Jennifer had told her parents she felt uncomfortable around them because they would leer at her and make comments. So why get offended? There's a good chance that Hispanic construction workers were involved; it's easy to see why Hispanics could be involved. Read the comment somewhere above by 'The Hob Family'. Someone who is Hispanic who tells it like it is.

I’d agree except that there are sooooooo many places to hide a deceased person in FL, especially in Orlando. Lakes, ponds, bogs, forested areas, landfills, conservation areas, quarries - then the huge RE boom - she could have been hidden in construction, especially in the early 2000s in FL. Not that I’ve hidden a body,.... but my state has a lot of hiding places. Poor Kesse family .... they have taken hold of all the police files now and are working the case. I pray for them.

Re watching, thinking about Jennifer’s story a lot this week. If I’m not mistaken the parents said the individual who dumped Jennifer’s car did not match anyone they were familiar with. That would likely rule out the boyfriend and the ex boyfriend. Unless they hired someone to dump the car. Assuming that the perpetrator and the person who was captured leaving the car are one in the same this means it’s someone her parents never met. So a stranger or her coworker most likely. However to me the person dropping the car looks like a Latin/Hispanic male,with dark hair slicked back a small ponytail and wearing perhaps painter or construction attire. Also when I views the surveillance footage it appears they are walking almost in their tip toes. Possibly a foot injury or maybe they were a little paranoid about possible fill prints being picked up. Most of the time when someone moves a vehicle like this its to throw people off and buy time. The car was captured at noon being dropped. Her family and co workers said she left like clock work at 7:30 or 8 am each morning. This gives the perpetrator possibly 4 1/2 hrs from the time we believed Jennifer was abducted to the car being dropped. Not the longest time frame in a case. Especially once we consider that no prints,signs of forced entry or foul play were found inside the apartment nor her car. Really would appear as if she was abducted outside of her apartment and forced into another vehicle of some sort. The person or persons like took her keys and moved the vehicle after she was taken. I believe it was more than one person. If she was forced to her car there was a vehicle standing close by and she was transferred into that. There is no way all evidence could have been removed if she was harmed in her vehicle. POI dropping the car was only inside around 30/40 down odd seconds before getting out and walking away. That’s not enough time to clean up a crime scene. The police don’t believe the car was driven far. I believe it really was just driven complex to complex. As far as we know it wasn’t seen anywhere else beforehand. I really pray her case is solved and that people keep seeing her face and talking about her. It’s been maybe 13 years or something like that and she and her family deserve justice. She could still even be alive. Stranger things have happened. Let’s not lose hope.
@ErinJeanette2 жыл бұрын
It looks like a black guy to me. And I think someone forced her into their car, killed her in their car, then moved her car, and disposed of her later but since they have no clue they'd have nobody to check out. Definitely construction clothes.

The brother’s mysterious friend might have done it. Remember he “accidentally” left his work phone in her condo. Perhaps he planted it there on purpose and then abducted her sometime after she returned. The phone was missing from the condo and she had not yet mailed it. Someone was knocking on the door right before she went missing. Whoever this was is obviously the perpetrator.

I think this theory is the one. No matter how safe you think you are and the people around you; evil wears a charming face. The coworker, while my second suspect, had an alibi even if we do not know his whereabouts before the ticket. The ex, it's a small world, people have bar preferences, while coincidental, not far fetched he happened to just drink nearby. Your theory, stands out to me and one I had not thought till rewatching.

When I go out anywhere without my husband I like to send him texts letting him know every time I get to a new store/location, or a new street when I'm walking, when I'm on and off the bus if I take a bus, when I'm on my way home, etc. That way there is a written record of exactly where I was and at what time, in case anything ever happens. Even as a kid my mom made me call every time I left one location to go to another when I went out with friends. I guess maybe that's why I have this habit with my husband now. Also we've lived in rental homes for a while and if maintenence people or whoever have to come in when he's not home I always text to let him know when they are here and when they leave. Man, I really struggle with the constant theories of human trafficking in these cases. While trafficking is a huge problem in our country, it is VERY rarely of a random, well educated, mentally sound white girl who was abducted. These girls have the resources and agency to get themselves out of those situations too easily - they will be looked for and recognized - this isn't what traffickers want. They target people who are vulnerable - immigrants, addicts, mentally ill, etc. victims. They take advantage of the most vulnerable people in the worst way, and while it is a huge problem (again), I cringe every time I hear anyone speculate about it in these types of cases. Maybe its just optimism that they are alive..?

It was definitely the obsessed coworker. First of all, you don’t say that about someone you’re in love with when you find out they’re missing (unless you know something more). Secondly, he got a speeding ticket, probably because he was doing something with her and/or he needed an alibi.

that’s what i was thinking too. could have sped on purpose to get a solid alibi. could have known that a time stamped alibi is the strongest kind
