I felt bad for the eaglet who got pushed off the nest and happy to see him back of his own to the nest shortly after. It's been awhile didnt see both parents in the nest. Every time I view this nest it's always the eaglets no mom or dad. I'm glad to see the whole family again on this beautiful video of your. Thank you for sharing !

Hello Sean, I've never seen such a boisterous, noisy lot. (Makes our Decorah eaglets look like little angels) This out of control nest leaves one exhausted from watching... yes, and a headache as well :) However, it's compelling viewing. (better than any soap opera on TV!!!) We watch and learn how these magnificent birds survival instincts kick in at such a young age. Like yourself, I'm in awe and fascinated by the raptors species... especially the eagles. Two have fledged and continue to scream at each other from the treetops... music to my ears :) Always great to communicate with my UK birdie friend. Although I watch the Decorah nest most of the time, I have been actively following this one, also. Such a difference between the two nests. Or at least, the occupants. 😃. I was amazed at how these eaglets treated Mom and Dad. Is this a common behavior? I am totally new to eagle watching, and just found and fell in love with the Decorah eaglets a few days after Dad Decorah went MIA. So everything is a new revelation to me in regards to eagle behavior. This was a fantastic video. Thank you for the time, effort, and commitment to are showing. 👍💕

What a little so and so! That's no way to treat siblings or parents. 'The one who didn't get the fish attacked Mom's foot and shoved her off the nest - what a cheek! Is there a food shortage here? Poor Mom was very delicate withdrawing the meal from its talons after that display of aggression. Loved the wonderful fly back. Brilliant video illustrating their varied personalities, thank you. The expression on Mom's face towards the end is priceless - bet she can't wait for them to leave home and give her a break.

Hello Dear Chong, Oh, please... please do not worry my sweet friend. Sometimes I seem to take forever to get through my pile of emails :) I never seem to get to the end. These naughty, boisterous (gorgeous) eaglets are almost ready to go out into the big wide world on their own and the Decorah nest is not far behind... they are the well behaved kids, with the single parent. I'm going to miss them all/I adore them. Than I will have a holiday! :) I do hope you are enjoying a lovely week. We are now into winter... nothing like your winter in the snow, however we all cry as soon as the wind blows... and it's not really that cold. We're used to the extreme heat here in Queensland. Oh Chong, I hoped you enjoyed this entertaining, epic saga about this vast, great and at times unrelenting land... the hardships endured, and the harshness of the Australian outback. One of Colleen McCullough's best novels I feel. You know, she was absolutely appalled at what 'Hollywood' did with her book, and how it was portrayed for the big screen.... she was scathing and most outspoken about her disapproval of the mini series. She was never one to hold back her words... she has since passed/bless her! Have a lovely day beautiful lady🌹ﾒ

I can see why Mom doesn't hang out at the nest very often. Those "children" are wild and crazy. Only see one in the nest now. Hope the others are okay....

I've been watching all day and haven't seen 3 in the nest; just the two. But most of the time it's just the one, which is probably lonely but at least she doesn't have to share the food (as much anyway)! Yes, they are very boisterous. I also look at the other triplets in the Channel Island and those 3 are so quiet compared to these 3 :)

That's correct! The other two have fledged, the male did return for a while. By the sound of their calls, they are both in nearby trees. Now she has all the food she can eat... not as much fun when you don't have to fight for it. :) Will be interesting to see if they return to the nest tonight. I haven't watched the other nest, just Decorah... which are like angels compared to this lot :) Love those eagles!!!
