I'm a fan of a lot of rough, hard-edged music-- hard rock, metal, punk, funk, and jazz-rock fusion-- but I love this song and this band too. Hearing "Let Your Love Flow," anywhere and everywhere, is one of my happiest memories of the '70s, and hearing it today still makes me smile and feel young.

I never realized how dirty songs were from my childhood. Walk This Way and even Let’s Get Physical by Olivia Newton John. I seriously thought it was about exercising lol. I miss that innocence. Love how open you are to a wide variety of jams from a bunch of sources. Songs for me take me to specific times and places...this one...I'm ten years old riding with mom and dad in the old Ford LTD wagon...funky-ass tinny radio with pushbuttons that you pulled out and pushed in to set the stations and the super-cool extra knob for the speaker in back. We're gonna to see granny and this comes on. Mom is singing along with my head laying in her lap and dad is all off-key. The BEST of times. Nothing but love. Glad you can feel it in the music too.

That was the german TV-show "Starparade. They had ALL the big names in the 70s. In october 1976 The Bellamy Brothers with "Let your love show", a no.1 hit in germany for 5 weeks, before the german version of that song ("Ein Bett im Kornfeld"/ a bed in a cornfield LOL) topped the charts for another 11 weeks.

I'm 52 years old. I've known this song since I was a kid in the 70's, and this is my first time actually seeing them. They actually look pretty close to what I pictured in my head for over 40 years.

Love your appreciation for the Bellamy's. They live a few miles North of me here in Florida. All their songs are great and still jamming today.
