I just saw your comment Right after I posted the same thing. Rules need some changing to allow for a video replay to the judges Before ruled an official knockout. I mean shit happens so you can't disqual the guy for the two of them clicking heads but that could easily be removed from both fighters' records until a rematch is made.

You know what.... I went frame by frame (pause button over and over) at 8:46-47 in the video and there's a really fast right hook in there that could have done the job. However I can't tell if Maynards face shifts before that would have connected OR during the hand connecting. The right hook was so fast that it's blurry and not one frame shows in clearly.

I really wish they would verify the times after KO's, especially when they're during the first 10 seconds. It should be as soon as the ref motions to stop the fight it's over. Some of these the dudes already doing a backflip before the time stops 😂.

Dan Miragliotta is about as good as they come. But everybody makes mistakes. I believe this is one of them at 9:10. He could have let that gone a few seconds longer, and he would have seen that it wasn't the end of the fight.
