Exactly why I’m here! Watched Mike in his prime as a little girl who loved watching dudes beat the shit out of each other and I say Mike is the best heavyweight boxer of my lifetime. Watching this I remembered exactly where I was and seeing the fight as it was happening and this gave me chills for real! I can’t wait until he kicks Paul out of his realm. 🫡 Iron Mike!!!

Tyson is 60, retired for 20 years, smoked pot, did shrooms. What happened yesterday was not a surprise, and does has no effect on his legacy. Tyson is still the GOAT.

@Peter McKinlay I COMPLETELY understand what your saying he never had the never say die MENTAL FORTITUDE of an Evander Holyfield or Ali or Joe Frazier but in the same breath I believe his UNBELIEVABLE Natural Talent was among the BEST EVER and I'm referring to any fighter EVER to this day the combination of SPEED and POWER is untouchable I mean you had guys that were ULTRA-FAST but never had this kind of power then you had guys who hit like no other but weren't half this fast but in the end he FAILED BIG-TIME when his calling to be the GOAT was there he never answered but I CHALLENGE ANYONE to show me a fighter with this ULTRA-RARE talent
@rjpdcytys76873 жыл бұрын
@Mynne_ one thing I will agree with is Tyson was hands down the most PHYSICALLY GIFTED HEAVYWEIGHT EVER but he did struggle with resistance and self doubt WHY? I'm not sure with his TALENT he shouldn't ever had doubt but he did
@rjpdcytys76873 жыл бұрын
@Mynne_ the funny thing is when you had the PHYSICAL SKILLS Tyson had you didn't have to have the dead game grit and determination of a Holyfield because you'd simply just kick their ass on just your natural talent alone

@Peter McKinlay 6 times he failed and 50 won,Ali won 56 fights and failed 5 times yet they're treating him like the God of boxing but if you're checking both numbers,there is not really much difference,is it? Well Floyd Mayweather has impeccable resume but everyone's accusing him of running,how do you explain that? You seem just like another hater who crawled out his little stone just for the sake of trolling

It became known if you ordered the PPV or were going over to someone's house to watch it don't go to the bathroom or go get something to eat or drink and definitely don't show up late cause in the blink of an eye you'd be watching a the knockout on replay as the entire house was screaming in shock and amazement. Tyson PPV was truly a spectacle of its own. Nowadays people complain if they see a main event on a PPV card and it goes 12 rounds. Back then no one ever felt like they got robbed for paying for it even if it only lasted 1 or 2 rounds. You only complained about missing it happen live, but never like you got robbed and paid for money for nothing!

I remember as a kid, when boxing was still legal in Norway we had a boxer fighting a match in Las Vegas. We had to watch it at my uncles place, he had a satellite dish. Our guy was mediocre he lost, I remember its was still kinda interesting in a way. But after that came the main event, with Mike Tyson... I looked at Mike and thought, tsss this dude is way too big. Slow af, heavy weight is boring. A boxing match has never again made the same impression on me. This was the Iron Mike up and coming at his prime, he was as fast or faster then a feather weight, with lightning fast reflexes and a technique that was godly. I cant remember who his opponent was but he was totally outclassed. He didn't stand a chance. Later on the sports news we had a interview with our guy, and they started talking about Mike. He said yeah I know Mike we used to train in the gym together. I was like wow, he knows Mike? I was a instant fan.
