Having seen the movie, I kind of wish they explored why the “Justices” hate him so much. I mean, what could he possibly have done to warrant all this? I get that he accidentally crashed the concert here, but it’s implied that he has more history with them than that

I think their hate for Dragon is doesn't need to be talked about. Remember that U is based in the internet. What is the internet known for, on the negative side? Given Dragon's true identity and his background being the source of his strength, he's incredibly powerful and from the sounds of things is virtually unbeatable (losing only two battles because he was distracted and throwing the third for reasons) in combat. That kind of thing is going to make you enemies for no other reason than pettiness or jealousy. There's no need for some grandiose reason for it. People are just petty and spiteful. Dragon's got a reputation and we've seen how his brutality causes problems for other users. The Justices all sound like their real selves hate being shown up or are highly competitive. And if they believe in fair sportsmanship (never mind Justin's go-to threat of doxxing those getting in his way), then Dragon's brutality isn't going to win him any fans among older people. Kids seem to like him but they're kids. They're not going to be on the same level as teens and adults. Dragon's just some cool-looking AS who kicks all kinds of ass (and I'll bet you none of those kids are fighting-based users so it's not like they're going to worry about Dragon picking fights with them).

In my interpretation of the film the Justices are just manipulated by Justin, and Justin is the AS of the abusive father (the movie doesn't reveal who Justin really was and if tge father had an account on U but I swear it was the father). Like in his real life the father wanted to bully, control and punish everyone who disobeyed him, and he saw the Dragon as someone who deserved punishment, ironically someone who was already being abused by him.

I believe this movie was also worked on from former Disney character designers. The art style in U is the Disney art style. I mean technically this is an official modern Disney Beauty and the Beast in a sense. I like that it isn't just a romance story and had it's own plot.
