I'm going to go out on a limb here (never seen the movie) and guess that Dragon was just enjoying the concert when one of these "Justice's" happened to spot him and called in the others. And that they were the ones truly responsible for interrupting the concert. I mean, come on! They had 30+ guys attacking him at once, and had the gall chastised him for defending himself!

Seriously, here is the plot for the Phantom of the opera: a talented individual with a horrific scar captures the beautiful singer and they slowly fall in love. Phantom: a skilled musician with no rival but suffers from his scared face. The Singer:(forgot her name), a young woman whose voice is so beautiful that everyone would come and see her perform.

In my opinion, Christine is never at any point in love with the Phantom. She respects and sympathizes with him at times, but she’s only ever in love with Raoul. Edit: Also, they were CLEARLY alluding to Beauty and the Beast. Her AS is literally named after the main character, Belle, and they frequently refer to the Dragon as “Beast” throughout the movie.

Having seen the movie, I kind of wish they explored why the “Justices” hate him so much. I mean, what could he possibly have done to warrant all this? I get that he accidentally crashed the concert here, but it’s implied that he has more history with them than that

I think their hate for Dragon is doesn't need to be talked about. Remember that U is based in the internet. What is the internet known for, on the negative side? Given Dragon's true identity and his background being the source of his strength, he's incredibly powerful and from the sounds of things is virtually unbeatable (losing only two battles because he was distracted and throwing the third for reasons) in combat. That kind of thing is going to make you enemies for no other reason than pettiness or jealousy. There's no need for some grandiose reason for it. People are just petty and spiteful. Dragon's got a reputation and we've seen how his brutality causes problems for other users. The Justices all sound like their real selves hate being shown up or are highly competitive. And if they believe in fair sportsmanship (never mind Justin's go-to threat of doxxing those getting in his way), then Dragon's brutality isn't going to win him any fans among older people. Kids seem to like him but they're kids. They're not going to be on the same level as teens and adults. Dragon's just some cool-looking AS who kicks all kinds of ass (and I'll bet you none of those kids are fighting-based users so it's not like they're going to worry about Dragon picking fights with them).

In my interpretation of the film the Justices are just manipulated by Justin, and Justin is the AS of the abusive father (the movie doesn't reveal who Justin really was and if tge father had an account on U but I swear it was the father). Like in his real life the father wanted to bully, control and punish everyone who disobeyed him, and he saw the Dragon as someone who deserved punishment, ironically someone who was already being abused by him.

I want to watch the SUB version first because the original language it’s released in usually has the most emotions conveyed; it’s e depth of character emotions gets lost in Translation or something because as much as an enjoy the Dub the SUB is still my favorite in any anime!

Also as someone who watches most animated movies in sub and as someone who already watched the movie, I am honestly so impressed with this dub you can honestly tell how hard they worked and it shows! I am also very impressed with the voice actors ACTUALLY matching their characters well compared to the original casting of course. That's honestly a rarity (at least to me) so yeah definitely going to rewatch this movie in dub too!!

@@milicamilic7433 It is definitely a modern homage in a way with other focuses. They had their own version of the ballroom dance and the name Belle, the hood, the concept. It is so obvious. I believe this movie was also worked on from former Disney character designers. The art style in U is the Disney art style. I mean technically this is an official modern Disney Beauty and the Beast in a sense. I like that it isn't just a romance story and had it's own plot.

Person A: “He showed up a few months in the martial arts arena.” Person B: “He holds the record for the most consecutive wins” Person C: “But he fights dirty.” These three lines are all clearly about talking about his fights in the martial arts arena which, I presume, is one-on-one and meant to be a fair fight. Unless you’re going to try to claim that someone keeps track of consecutive fights with the cops, or Justices, or whatever they are lol. So really your comment should be the other way around. The Dragon is the one who can’t call victimhood because he started it.
