Another edit I have made with some mixtures from the Belle music video called “millennium parade x Belle - U (English Version)” and the 2021/2022 animated movie itself, “#Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess”. This movie was made by the imaginative mind of Mamoru Hosoda. I DO NOT take any credit (私はクレジットを取りません) for production of music (audio) AND video (audio visual).

I was able to see it in the cinema's and it's absolutely amazing. The cinema experience really completes this movie. If you can't see it in the cinema.. make sure to watch it with headphones on or a good multi-speaker sound system. I watched the subbed version, but if it's still out on payday I plan to go back to watch the dub because amazingly the dub is done really dam well.

The English Dub is actually super good, the vocalist sounds exactly like the Japanese vocalist, both are astounding. I loved the english because I got more into it, but either way it's a fantastic watch.

I highly recommend it. I saw it in the theatre with subtitles. The animation, voice acting, and music were phenomenal. There were a few quibbles I had with the story, but overall I'd go see it again in theatre if it came back and will buy the blu-ray when it comes out.

Someone who saw this film in America opening weekend here. This film is my all time favorite (well for now since I have the tendency to change all time favorite films....). There. I said it, it is, to me, unlike any animated feature film I have ever seen before and after. I love everything about it, and despite it's flaws, even the flaws are wayyyyyyy too little, and the fact that this got snubbed for best animated feature angers me a bit greatly, but hey, at least my runner up favorite animated film of the year (that being Mitchells Vs the Machines) got a nomination. I am so getting Belle on blu-ray (maybe even it's special edition if I really wanna go for it) right when it comes out.

SPOILERS!!! I’ve heard plenty of ppl not liking how the plot was delivered. Lemme explain for a sec. This movie was never about romance or a retelling of beauty and the beast. Its about a life of an anonymous idol who suffering depression due to her mother’s passing. There was no ship to begin with. She simply replied “thank you” in the scene where she went to save the “beast” in tokyo. Instead, we are given a scene where she finally realized the reason her mother “left” her for someone else. For me, the happiest scene in the movie was when suzu was able to sing again in the real world with her friends.

Same. I cried my eyes out in the one scene where everyone’s hearts opened up and they all sang together. It was beautiful. I love how she essentially saved someone just like her mom. I loved it!
