You can't really appriciate the characters in the movie without first having read the books. I don't like it when people watch the movie and completly diss Lestats character in the movie without reading the first two books at least. Good vid I love it.

Lesat can act all confident and cocky, but that is hiding the fact that he is deeply sad and lonely and longs for a relationship and a companion, he wanted Louies so badly and would do anything to make him stay with him, so he created Claudia, as a way to sort of black mail Louies into staying because of their dependant child, You can really feel Anne Rice's Emotion and Heartbreak go into these characters with such great loss, like In the books, Louies loosing his brother, Claudia losing her mother, and Lestat losing his sanity and everything he had, as Anne herself experienced Much pain and sorrow after losing her child- daughter from Cancer, and you can feel the pain rub off onto these characters that Anne created, this was never supposed to be a book, but she ended up finishing a piece of writing she did for time, and now many people and I so much enjoy the book and the movie as it is my favourite, a piece of true Art of the Literature, I'm writing this comment to take a moment of Anne's hardship and melancholy and appreciate everything she's gone through, as a teen I can't imagine what she went through as her child was so young, and Anne was a mother. I love you Anne and you inspire me everyday to know that bad things happen in the world, but you've got to keep going and you can achieve your goals . Thank you.
