Good utilization of the stock area over the rear axle assembly. Obviously because of keeping the stock fuel tank, but this is where the shocks go anyway on these Tri-Five Chevrolet. I had a 56 Chevrolet and utilized some heavy duty leaf springs and the added height of the car actually tore loose the factory shock mounts up in the body. This setup is better although we did not have access to this stuff over fifty years ago. Of course this was not a low rider and air bags were just not used in everyday automotive use. A sound application🥸👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
