Belly dance is for any size because the movements are natural to our body. Big hips are not a "requirement" Just follow Coco's lessons (or any teacher ) and you will be belly dancing in no time :)

impressive teaching style and to comment I have bellydanced for 12 years now but recently I had suffered a herniated disk and your videos are helping me recover so I can return to my full stature its agonizing work to be back in basic but I'm sure it will be worth it as you as my online teacher^^ way to go miss coco

i really like your channel i will do all of your moves thank you. it looks like the vision on the mirror is slower that your very different but nice

+Ceylan Avci thank you 😊 we'll light is fast, but physically the image that is reflected from the mirror into the camera is a tiny bit slower than the image of my body directly filmed ;)

Hi, I hope I understand you right: I don't lift my feet from the floor, but I don't lock my legs. I let the movement flow through my body.

idk if im too young but iv been trying to learn belly dancing because it seemed fun and i also heard it helped you loose weight cuz im a little chubby XD but i still would like to learn belly dancing cuz belly dancing seems so beautiful

Aww ty for sharing this, i'm learning belly dancing at the moment but i just cannot get the hip shimmy after a while of trying it slow i try to speed it up, but i find it so diff to bend the knees n do the shimmy as i have osteoarthritis in both my knees, the main reason i am learning is i have had both hips replaced n the left one hasn't healed so i've been told to work on the thigh muscles, man after a while i can barely stand they hurt so much., Do u have any tips or tricks to make it easyxx

+Sameera Afreen yes, if you do 20 minutes 2-3 times a week you can loose weight. More is more :) it will also improve your posture & stretch your spine & tighten your waist so you will look slimmer & feel sexier in your body ❤️

Jede der Bewegungen 2-10 Minuten am Tag. Du kannst auch gerne zu Essencebellydance.com kommen und kostenlos jeden Tag eine Klasse von 15, 30, oder 60 Minuten machen, da ist alles aufeinander abgestimmt und du kannst deinen Fortschritt bewerten. So lernst du am schnellsten ☀️

Ich übe das aus diesem Video jetzt schon eine Woche lang, jeden Tag 20 Minuten. Wann muss ich das beherrschen mit den Knien vor und zurück bewegen und vorallem so schnell? Muss ich das nach einer Woche schon können?😅 Ich melde mich wahrscheinlich bald bei dem Online Kurs an. 😇 Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen.
