Another very informative video. No matter what some people think, bowling in general - and especially PBA bowling - is extremely difficult to be consistently good at 100 percent of the time. Jason, you are whom you are because you are a professional, and one of the best ever at that. Even the best cannot be perfect on every pattern for every shot. You know yourself that you just have to keep working. That's how you got to be the consummate pro you are. Good luck the rest of the way. Still watching and listening and hoping to see you bowling next weekend.

Jason that's why you send your Storm Ball reps to scout out the other bays!! I marvel that each Week the Storm staffers don't all go to Dinner and each 1 discuss how to break down the pattern and what they are seeing!! Kinda like they do in Nascar Asymmetrical or symmetrical Urethane or Resin How much Matt O Grady hand are they using etc!! The Goal is using Darren Tangs journal for the betterment of every Storm staffer etc What is Belmo seeing is Simo seeing the Same thing what is Frankie L seeing and what is Barnes and EJ Tackett seeing 👀 knowing full well Tackett is Motiv!! ❤😊 Have a Foster mate

"140's are a part of the game" - So true. I remember watching the video replay of one of my PBA regionals and there was a guy commenting on my 147 game online "Why is this guy even allowed to bowl in this". I hope he watches this video. Belmo is 100x better than me, and if he can throw a few, I do not feel bad when I occasionally hit that really rough game.
@justinhoward2108 Жыл бұрын
That guys comment made me question for a while if I could compete. It did refocus me on process over outcome, and I am in a much better state this year. So maybe I should thank him instead of call him out. ;)

Don’t give up Belmo you got this! I find these vlogs very interesting they give us house bowlers some insight on how hard these PBA patterns really are. Lol recently I had a rough day at my local bowling alley if I was on the pattern you guys play on I probably would’ve bowled 45.

personally, i love when belmo throws bigger balls, amps the speed up and tones down his backend reaction. i would love if he would always go dead straight at all his spares and splits with a spare ball. 🙂

If anything about watching these videos are the camera angles.. that said I noticed that balls either broke left early Brooklyn or broke late and entered the pocket with no force or miss the pocket completely.. the ones that struck went right, broke left and had the force to go through the pocket with the ball 1/2 on the right front of the headpin...just an observation
@AndreWDYounitedRevolution Жыл бұрын
please keep this up Belmo..such a great insight to the tournaments! besides that: I felt like the Reality Check was waay to sharp in the backend for already very sharp backends..was surprised that you threw that so much

If I was a Pro Bowler like Jason I would record every Bowling Alley I ever played at, every lane, with what ball I used in that lane and pattern, how much oil was used, where to stand, what arrow to roll at, and how long the lane was as a cheat sheet even though there are so many variables I can't control at least I have a cheat sheet.

I’m just a for fun, sometime league bowler. Bowled as a kid in league. Then went 20 plus years not bowling. Grew up watching Mark and Earl with Marshal being from my state. ABC and Saturdays. Then tv went away from it. Watched you when I could with your two handed and was impressed with your humbleness along with what you’ve done. You’re video on Packy’s channel is what got me here. Thank you

Jason, I know I'm just some guy who bowls at my local alley and I am nowhere near your caliber of a bowler. However (you knew that was coming, right?), let me make a suggestion on the 3,6,10 spare, which I saw you miss (I think twice). This works for me and if it works for me, with your accuracy, it should certainly work for you. Throw your spare ball right up the second arrow into the six. The 3-10 automatically go down. I have seen Tackett miss this spare too. I make them almost always by just throwing my spare ball straight up the second arrow. I take the same shot if it is only the 3-10 (the baby split). Your accuracy has to be better than mine and, like I said, I make this shot quite a lot. I think your chances of making that spare are higher my way than throwing across the lane. I hope to meet you next weekend at Carolier Lanes and get a photo and my bowling pin signed.
