Below and Beyond Mont Blanc - Switzerland, Italy, and France

In late June/early July 2022, I travelled with Road Scholars to hike in the Mont Blanc region of Europe. After flying into Geneva, Switzerland, we spent three days housed in Villars, Switzerland; four days in Cogne, Italy; and three days in Chamonix, France; returning to Geneva to fly home.
Highlights of the trip included travelling through the St. Bernard Pass, a visit to Aosta, Italy, and 360 degree views of the area from the top of Mont Blanc. Except for private bus transfers to our hotels, we utilized public buses, trains, and gondolas.
Hotel accommodations included Hotel VIU in Villars; Hotel du Grand Paradis in Cogne; and the Mercure Chamonix Centre Hotel in Chamonix.
