Abbie i undertook the same walk in 2014 after the death of my 10 year old daughter Heather from leukemia, having sunk into a deep depression two years previously i had basically given up, a chance meeting with a ex military colleague who asked me to undertake the very same walk was just what i needed it uplifted me in away that was so invigorating and made me realise this walk was for myself and Heather, i finally let go of my feelings, your walks are a true inspiration and having served in the second battalion parachute regiment i no what it's like to overcome all different challenges in life, i hope you continue your walks and sheer joy for the outdoors always.

Okay, finished the TMB. The climbs were far more challenging than I expected. I was carrying a 30 pound pack and wearing heavy boots which made the climb much more difficult. I wish I had worn lightweight shoes and ditched at least another five pounds from my pack. I'm 50 years old and in pretty decent shape. This was definitely a challenging tour!

Keeping it Wild in NorCal! Every week, I make a local trip, usually to someplace new to explore the endless trails of Northern California. The epic Tour du Mont Blanc has given me new inspiration to go further and to such long distance trails. This past Easter, I woke up with a sense of purpose and what question popped into my head was "What would Jesus do today?" The answer popped in just a few seconds later, "Grab Buddha, Mohammad and John Muir and hike the mountains!" I asked if I could join them and Jesus replied "Sure!" It was a very wonderful spiritual hike that day in the oak woodlands of Napa County. Fantastic. Thanks for your inspiring message and beautiful cinematopography.

Abbie, I want to thank you for sharing your experience and your personality with us. I'm 78 years old and physically unable to make the trek anymore., but I have done a number of Alpine treks in my life. For 40 years I lived at an altitude of a little over 2,900 meters in the Colorado Rockies. I love the mountains, they heal my soul. Your production values are excellent and I found you to be personally fascinating. Your narrative was excellent, but your personal sharings of anxieties and joy really got me engaged in your adventure. Thank you again. I do hope you can draw on this for inspiration and strength throughout your life. You have certainly inspired me.

My second time viewing your wonderful tour of Mont Blanc Abbie, and, I'm in awe at your courage on taking on those ladders and dodgy wooden steps up that death defying cliff face. Congratulations! And, loaded down with your back pack it was a real feat of determination and physical strength to get to the top unscathed and in good spirits. 👍 I took the easy way myself and drove through the Mont Blanc tunnel ! It's a beautiful part of the world and you have done an excellent job in bringing out its exceptional beauty especially to so many of us who hardly ever venture out into the wilderness, although I did my fair share of mountaineering and camping back in the lost days of my youth. Keep smiling and keep making these great videos.

I so enjoyed this video...such beauty! Thank you so much for enabling us to see it! God is reflected in His creation. The mountains show us His majesty while the flowers and birdsong show us His beauty, gentleness and sweetness. We get to know who He is through His creation. We need to be careful to not worship the creature but to go further and see the source of that beauty and pay God the homage He deserves, then we become fulfilled and be the person we were created to be. May God bless you, Abbie, and I pray for your healing.

What a stunning video of a stunning walk. I did it last September- it was wonderful to see some of the places I was at. Just to let you know- I had a meltdown and panic on day one- we had rain, sleet and then snow...and I had another meltdown on the last day- at the ladders...this was a life changing trip- I went with Outward Bound Canada- it was a fundraiser for the charitable programs..and we did it in 12 days with 1 day off, and didn't go to the challenges that you went. .and yes- you are right Abbie- what we learn on the trails we can carry over into our day to day life, and especially when struggling. I had a real challenging few months- but I kept thinking and reminding myself I did the TMB- so I could weather this storm. Thanks for showing us your authentic self, challenges and all. Keep up the god work and thank you for sharing and inspiring.

👋Hi Abbie, I'm a new subscriber here & how glad I am to be! Honestly, your videos & personal hiking/trekking & camping journeys are some of the very best via you tube! I find myself feeling very touched, with tears welling up in my eyes, when I watch your videos & see all you're achieving solo!! Not to mention, all the epic views/scenery, that you get to witness & enjoy along the way. You totally touch & inspire me & so much so, that for someone who has suffered from much anxiety (regularly) & some depression (every now & then), I wish to follow my heart, my dreams & do what you do. I must confess however, that although I'm very fit & healthy, I'm by no means a hiking or camping expert & if I'm to be very truthful, I'm very much the novice, but nonetheless, I have done a bit in the past & I did very much enjoy it, so yes, I will gladly do it again & will be happy to take up the challenge. I have booked a trip to France & Ireland for later this year & I'm going to so some exploring on foot, with my dearest & very best friends in life....my beloved husband & 2 daughters. We by no means will do anything on the grabd scale that you do, however, we''ll just get out there & do our thing & if/when we decide to stop, we will. As you say, it's not a competition, it's just about getting out there & truly embracing, appreciating & enjoying Mother Nature & all she has to offer. It's about making the most of this life & getting in touch with our inner selves, as I truly believe, that we humans don't do this enough & that's a sad thought indeed. On a personal note, I just find you to be cheerful, down to earth & of course, the sweetest & most amazing person/woman. As a fellow human sister, I wish to say to you Abbie, you're a true star & mighty inspiration to those who struggle with their own personal challenges/difficulties. I so enjoy watching you & your videos, that I intend to follow you & support you on your global journeys. Btw, I must also add, that I think this France & Italy video, of the majestic Mont Blanc, is just utterly EPIC!!!! My goodness, France is a very stunning country, in so many ways, with it's very diverse & changeable landscapes/scenery, so too Italy's mountains, with so, so much to offer to the traveller. How fortunate the humans, that get the live chance to witness such beauty with their own eyes & feel all with their senses! I wish you well & may all your impending travels/hikes, etc;, be truly inspiring & enjoyable for you. Thank you Abbie, for sharing your life & your personal journeys with your viewers. Peace🙏

Loved the whole film every minute, I so appreciate being able to watch you on these adventures as because of physical issues I cannot do it myself. I so love the outdoors and was always out, so fabulous and I hope you keep doing them 😁

I was due to do the Tour du Mont Blanc this summer but the trip has been cancelled. Have loved watching your video instead (recommended in Trail Magazine) and will now be watching many more of your videos. Love your approach and candid comments - great stuff Julia

Wow so inspirational. Some of those views were spectacular. Those ladders on the last day would have killed me. I have trouble with ordinary stairs at the moment! Thanks Abbie for yet another wonderful video.

Well done Abbie, a spectacularly superb video as always, my favourite of yours so far I reckon. A complete joy to watch. Those views...wow!! Totally get what you mean about being on the trail with others who don't speak the same lingo...an appreciation of the fantastic surroundings, environment and the achievements made is a universal language. Thoroughly loved it. Thank you so much for sharing this adventure and for the bucket list inspiration. Top notch.👍
