Chef Kevin pain meds for his back, and I am pretty sure the new chef on med is taking meds for his knee but can't not have a chef!! Deck hand Brian meds Kat season 1 and 2 anxiety meds the list goes on! Hannah was the star of the show and Sandy and Malia were disgustingly JEALOUS!! I hope they are replaced 😎

Hannah was fired Because she didn't have the prescription Info sheet, Had Hannah Brought the paperwork for it she wouldn't have been fired. You have to realize that Valium without paperwork is a felony, which would have gotten captain sandy charged. On top of the fact Hannah clearly tried to flush the pills, I don't agree how it was handled But sandy DID MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE, because the other choice was Prison time.

I used to love Below Deck, but stopped watching the moment Hannah was fired. It was shady the way it went done and I don't think Malia's intention are genuine, it was self serving. She bare witnessed to Hannah's panic attack, and then USED it against her... Not a fan at all! She should have gone first to Hannah to have it addressed. I realize that my comment may not be favorable for a lot of people, however, I think we’re all forgetting that Malia Does whatever she needs to to get ahead. Remember her last charter she was using two different men, but ended up with Wes because he could do more for her, advancement wise. Keep in mind she’s trying to become captain now, and how better to use Sandy then to become her partner. She will do anything to advance! I just hope Sandy doesn’t fall for it. Captain Sandy only got the job because she ticked off some boxes in the diversity checklist that Hollywood is now insisting on. With all the hype he sure turned out to be a massive disappointment, he needs to watch Rachel lol at least her outbursts are justified! All positions have their own level of stress and responsibilities but I think the chef has the most, what they put out 3 times a day, from early breakfast, lunch and long lasting dinners especially when a 10-12 plate tasting dinner is requested, plus feeding the crew, keeping in mind individual allergies or dislikes .. Geez and no aide .. I take my hat off to any chef that successfully pleases everyone at every meal .. Only one that comes to mind is yep Rachel WoW she is a master at her job lol filthy mouth but she does warn crew to keep out when she's in a mood. Like most good artists, when they are in the throes of creating their art, they are deeply passionate, that's why if things start to go wrong beware! Ben's a pretty good chef most the time too .. The rest all had varying levels of great disappointment, certainly expected a lot more from Tom .. Malia was wasting her time with him, she ended up looking more of a fool than him. If I ever win the lottery I'll be head hunting Rachel ✨😋✨

I started working in kitchens as a teenager...within 3 years I had developed a full-blown alcohol addiction, simply because as a cook/brunch cook I was allowed to drink on the job. The entire Captain Sandy idea that chef’s are like atom was is a sad revelation...but the fact is that Tom the chef and other chefs act crazy because people in charge like Capt. Sandy, allow them to act like that..(I was once chased out of a Boston restaurant by a chef wielding a knife-because I had told the owner of restaurant that the manager was stealing money nightly from the cash.) We have to stop accepting this kind of behaviour. And it is apparent that even those still in recovery are enabling bad behaviour from chefs who can’t control their emotions. Watching Tom behave like that was weird, and anybody with a bit of knowledge of therapy and psychology knows that Tom was exhibiting some very “a problematic” behaviour s. too bad Sandy won’t be honest about how she feels about his behaviour. BUT, can you imagine if we allowed scientists at NASA to behave like that? Or Board physicians? It wouldn’t be to,rested, so why do we accept it (I don’t) from supposed chefs with talent? Unless you have been a Michelin starred chef, your still just a chef putting food on a plate...it’s NOT astrophysics.

The problem is that sometimes emotional outbursts especially anger outbursts put everybody at risk. Because you don't know how somebody is going to react. It just takes tipping one person over the edge too far and then that entire boat is at risk including all of the guests. So la oose cannon is just as problematic as somebody with a major drug or alcohol addiction. I love how Sandy chooses who she decides to put the heat on when it's convenient for her. I’ve been reading some of the comments. In that kind of industry, things might be different to what you’re used to. I’m in aviation and Sandy would make an excellent airline captain. Malia too. We can’t have crew on board taking drugs of any kind unless they are approved for aviation and a prescription is issued. There is no tolerance for this for good reason. Many viewers may not be aware of leadership styles required in some industries and might find it foreign. This buddy buddy thing I see some commenters make... Malia was a higher ranking crew member who performed well and went to her captain for guidance and mentorship. There’s a hierarchy on yachts. It’s there for a reason.

Malia says shes only human.. She going to use that excuse til shes 100 years old? Grow up! You are allowed to use that excuse if you do a mistake a few times during your life if you really have good intentions, but wow.. Malia is so aware of alot of the things she does but plays the innocent girl card every single time.. I actually liked her in the start, she is so gorgeous! As much I think Malia is a little messy but glad she is not with Tom. He looks like a cool Cucumber at first but quickly bust into flame the moment something doesnt go his way. I would love to see him enter any chef competition on TV haha that would be a reality to watch and have other chefs to tell him to back off. Gosh! Dont know why each meal he always have a thing. The last chef should never get fired. He was super nice, passionate about his cooking, great personality, just great all around. Haha funny how Malia slowly turned into a PR person with all the negative heat from her action toward Hannah and other.

Granted hannah was lazy but the way she spoke to her and treated her is trash. Capt Lee amazing and I'd think he would have handled it better..

Remember we're watching reality TV. So with reality TV there is always going to be someone stirring up the pot otherwise it would be boring. But I do think if we had someone filming us day today we would be very surprised how we act towards other people we also would be criticized for what we wear our hair is done how our makeup is done or if we didn't have makeup I'm just saying as backseat drivers it's easy for us to make comments about other people and their actions. It's just reality TV.

I don't dislike Malia nearly as much as many on here. For her just blind support and protecting the world's largest douche canoe (Tom) I lost a lot of respect but I hope she learned from that. I think the gay comment was 10000% wrong on Sandy's part and I hope a more sincere apology came privately.

Everyone thinks Captain Sandy and Mailia were wrong to do what they did. My Brother is a super yacht Captain. It is Maritime law to not have drugs on board and that crew cannot take mood altering drugs while at sea even if they are Rx. This is the real world people, not just a TV show and those two women did their duty. I love Hannah but she was wrong.

@@Iwishiwasflying Maybe for a job in the USA that's the case. But, Maritime Law is different. IF Hannah was on antidepressants and had a legal prescription that she presented to the Captain. That could be a different story. Although many shipping companies would discriminate against that as well because the crew is responsible for lives at sea. Hannah had Valium and Cannabis on board. Valium is prescribed for acute anxiety and should be given in a medical setting. No one should work any job while on Valium. Cannabis is illegal in most countries with a penalty of jail. A vessel that has an illegal substance on board will be seized. Big repercussions.
