Something a little bit different today. We are not out on a walk as such. More of a look into the history of Belton. We investigate Bland Corner in Belton, Gt. Yarmouth , Norfolk.
This offers a chance to see a World War II Mortar / Machine Gun Emplacement. Which would have been used by the Home Guard to protect the East Suffolk Railway Line. It’s still in good nick too!
This area of Belton used to house a dock on which to moor boats.
