I love this series, as I learn more about styling using items that I already have. There is no need to keep buying more and more! I think given how much discussion there is about fashion sustainability, a practical way is to educate people more about use of colour and proportion in styling so purchasing decisions are more thoughtful and that you can look good without necessarily as consuming much.

I'm 65 with closets full of useless clothes and mismatched accessories. Tomorrow I'm having lunch out and will wrap a lightweight pashmina as an under blouse and belt a long cardigan over it. This video and the previous scarf video have been a huge eye-opener for wardrobe possibilities. Thank you!

@@TrinnyLondon Loved it! No photo, but scarf meant no front button gaps, no secret re-tucking, and no bunched up, too tight sleeves. Also draped beautifully at the neck to show off a larger necklace. I may never blouse again. Had a glass of wine at lunch and made a mental note to not do this with multiple cocktails . . .from personal past reasons. :)

Belt LOVER here. My collection is about the size of yours now. Storage does become an issue so glad you covered it. I use plastic containers similar to yours for those that can be rolled but the ones I wear MOST often I keep in sight because like you, I tend to FORGET sometimes certain belts I have. I actually spend MORE time accessorizing my outfits than anything else...hair, make-up outfit choice all pale next to the time I spend tweaking accessories bec. I love how they make outfits look so different. I live in a temperate tropical climate..year round Spring and am retired so I have a collection now of cotton knit and silk solid color dresses: red, navy, black. brown at various lengths and sleeve lengths. I transform those with belts especially, from casual up to very dressy. A belt can be amazing to vary the look of a dress as you have shown in this VERY useful video. I am so happy to have a SHAPE even at 70 which a belt does give me even in a very basic standard shift dress. .

It's something that I've veered away from in the last few years because I've got quite a curvy bum and I find that belts tend to accentuate it even more. No!!! Don’t get rid of the yellow gray white belt. You can easily wrap that belt with fabric or even a scarf and change the whole vibe. oh btw this and the scarf video are just stellar. So flippin well done! Those random print belts you are casting aside would make great wraps for bag handles.

I have two questions as I see this video: could you please do a live in-shop close up look at belts and how to find a good quality and interesting pieces? For example when being in Zara with your camera? Also, I´ve noticed that you´re wearing thights with shoes that have opened front. Now, I´m not the one to critise here, but I was told that it is a faux pas.. teach me if I´m wrong, because I´d love to wear sandals with thights in the winter :)
