Beluga Whales of Marineland Canada

Marineland of Niagara Falls, Canada is one of the most unique, bizarre, and polarizing amusement parks in North America. Probably the biggest highlight of a visit to Marineland is feeding the beluga whales (which you have to pay extra for). Marineland has the largest collection of belugas in the world with over forty whales in multiple pools.

Love visiting here. 50+ beluga, and still counting. According to one of the trainers, he wishes he could put the females on birth control. Also, if you visit Mystic Aquarium, look for Juno (very easy to spot him). He was born in their larger exhibit (Arctic Cove) in July 2002. You can also talk to the trainers about him, and the ones I speak to are always happy to hear more about him.

@@bhf4972 you can’t give dolphins and whales enough space in captivity. We can’t now and also will never be able to. And yes, they are not alone, but they have very complicate social structures these aquariums don’t seem to care about, because they will ship belugas from one place to another. Just to be clear, I am not against captivity of animals at all, but whales and dolphins just can’t be kept in captivity humanely.

When you see how our own ppl have gone and slaughtered these sweethearts, I find I rather them get put into conservation. Ppl are heartless. And long as we do what we keep doing and learn from mistakes, I think their best interest is in mind

Isn’t what America has done to the Orca whales bad enough ? Do you now plan on stressing these beautiful Beluga whales to the point of destruction . Can’t you just enjoy them instead of also Wrecking their lives . If you feel the need to ride ! Get a horse . I live in Australia 🇦🇺 and I just hate the thought of more animals being hurt or killed We have enough road kill as it is . I love 💕 your Belugas and other animals you have and hate to see them shot or stressed to death or left locked up in inappropriate cages . Stop animal abuse. and show by example .
