Oh my gosh thank you so much for posting this video! I would've never known I had to flip the seat over and push the screws into those little prong things. I was able to easily install my brand new seat in 5 minutes!

Yes, only half of the bolt breaks off, leaving the other half to take off later if you like.

Be sure to check the box for the special bolts BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE! Mine were missing and had to make a special trip to exchange.

En esta tapa se desprenden fácilmente la tapa de lo tornillos hay otra forma para que queden fijos sin desprenderse compré está tapa y la monte en mi hogar y en 2 días comenzó a desprenderse la he quitado y volver a ponerla por varias ocasiones y sucede lo mismo pueden ayudarme la compañía queda la instrucciones o alguna persona llevo años haciendo esto cambios pero en esta marca tengo este problema en este estilo lo tornillos queda por debajo cuando en otros estilo lo tornillos entran por encima de lo ganchos de subir y bajar gracias

I bought a new Bemis toilet seat, my daughter installed it last night but she didn't listen to me about centering the seat before screwing the bolts in. Now the seat is off center. Can I unscrew these and reuse them to straighten the seat or do I need to buy new bolts? Thank you in advance.

You can’t. It’s the worst seat in history. I’m going to cut mine off and make a KZbin video showing me destroy it with a reciprocating saw. Their seats are bigger piles of feces than what is flushed down the toilet.

Thank you for sharing this video on how to install. But can you provide assistance on how to remove the bolts and plastic covers? I am in the process of switching out toilet seats but cannot remove the old bolts

Just flip up the little plastic covers. Then, underneath the covers, you'll see a straight-slot plastic screw which you can unscrew with a straight-slot screwdriver. Then just lift off the seat.

You need an "elongated" toilet seat. Any brand you like, but be sure to get elongated.

Those twist cap locking seats hinges are pure garbage, Mine never stay tight and I happened to just fall off my toilet...Apparently so did my wife who didn't warn me so she could laugh at me. I see why the comments are turned off on the manufactures page. I just wanted a padded seat so I could watch KZbin from the comfort of my own toilet for half an hour....Instead I get a surprise slip'n'slide...
