Hi Sparky, in a real life situation, there will be 3 switches at 3 different locations of the house, mine is the 4 way switch at upstairs. So do I have to first LOCATE the 3 circuit breakers and then turn all of them OFF? Before taking all the wires out and then do the testing? Thanks a million. Best video explaining the

To use with 7-strand cables, does it have to be "twisted" before inserting it into the connectors? Or do I just strip the cable and insert it that way?

What is this some sort of Electrical Installation competition?? As I was typing this I heard people chearing then someone announced "30 minutes left". So I'm gonna guess it is, but what exactly is this?

Great video and yes, I’m late to comment but I wasn’t an electrician back then. My question is…how do you determine that the shrinkage is 3/16 and not 1/4, or 3/8, or 1/2”. Please and thank you.

I’ve been through 3 of these and waiting on a fourth. I just changed out all 3 elements in my last one and water heats up then goes cold. It I limit the flow it may stay hot but not to correct set temp. Service was less than helpful other then to tell me it’s most likely out of warranty and to buy another. But while I wait for the new one I’d like to finish trouble shooting this one. Fuse is good all connections are good, and all three chambers are heating

You are incorrect regarding the strap, sir. NEC 358.30 requires EMT to be strapped(secured) WITHIN 3 feet of a box or enclosure not 3 feet AWAY from the box. The old "no strap" rule for nipples was for sections of raceway 18 inches or less and was removed from the NEC in 2011. There are NO exceptions in that remove the requirement to strap conduit or nipples within 3 feet of a box or enclosure.

I have a homeline plug in neutral being used as a main panel. No ground bar came with new panel. It is my understanding my grounds can be installed on the neutral bonded panel bar. I must have only one neutral per terminal. Is this correct, or do I need to go purchase a separate ground bar. Thank you for all your videos

Be careful with that Milwaukee on live terminals. The manual says not to use on live circuits. And don't be fooled about quality just because a company is German, for a fact many top German brands (Knipex etc.) job out tons of work to Taiwan / China etc. and even rebrand tons of Taiwanese designed and mfged tools shown in their catalogs (that you can buy the exact same tool under a different brand name for less - look through catalog & you will clearly see especially in wire stripping tools). And btw that Whia is only accurate to -/+ 6%. My ratcheting in. lb. Tekton is accurate to -/+ 4% and is 1/4 the cost. The Whia also can not be calibrated, you have to send it in and they sell you a new handle + shipping - (fact, just call them).
