I love that you did your momma's kitchen. Isn't that the sweetest thing ever to really make things easier or simplified for someone you love. Don't you know she is proud and telling her friend about her new make over??? Makes my heart proud...and it's not even my momma. Treat your mom while you can because you will miss them so much when they are gone...Let me tell you. 8 years my mom has been gone and I miss her every day of my life. Thank you so much for sharing. XOXO

Living Today my mother refuses to, not only purge, but also throw anything away. She keeps empty water bottles, instant noodles cups, and packaging materials, broken appliancea and furniture, what not. She keeps building new storage houses for her junk. I tried to organize her house, i have given up a long time ago. Btw, she was born during WW2 in evacuation camp.
@GamerKid-qb5sy6 жыл бұрын
Oh no i am sorry to hear that, I have hear that most times when people like to accumulate a lot of unnecessary things there is usually a life experience they have had. For my mom she grew up very poor and so I think she is afraid to not have anything so she tends to save a lot of things.
@alingkinai75206 жыл бұрын
I agree. Some people share their grandparents stories doing the same thing even after they have become successful and doing well in life. It must be the experience early in life. I didn't have store-bought toys growing up. My mother never bought toys, she thought those were unnecessary expenses. But i had friends. We made our toys and played outdoor, got myself hurt many times, just sucked the pain up and shrugged it off. I was bought one dress each year for Christmas which I wore in every special ocassion the next year: birthday, end of school year award ceremony, church. Because of her character, she managed money so well that we were able to get more than tertiary education. So, i don't mind her being cheapskate and hoarder as long as she's happy. Though, It's difficult and stressful to navigate in her house. I don't think even Kay can help her organize.
@GamerKid-qb5sy6 жыл бұрын
Great story for you to tell people of your life, we were raised poor as well and even though i am doing good in life I now reflect a bit of that part with my son. I spoil my son rotten because of me not being able to have things and I fill my life with things i don't need because i can now. So it definitely is tough. I agree with the being happy part, Iet my mom do what she wants too as long as she is happy :)
@lindylu84146 жыл бұрын
@@alingkinai7520 That is how my mom was. I am so sorry. I ended up with all her stuff. It is really hard to go through it all. I still have a lot of it in a huge closet and small room. Our own house. I am still going through it 19 yrs later. It is still so difficult. Keep trying. Don't do what I am doing. May I suggest you try and higher Estate people to go through things when the time comes. I thought doing so would be painful but I think what I am going through now is a lot worse and has only effected my depression more. I wish you the best. Take care.
