Regarding the discussion at the end of the video, Ben 10,000 in classic was going to be Ben's future but because time travel is what it is, Ben changed his future unknowingly by seeing what will happen. That's why people say you should never know your future if you want it to happen. Besides, that future is only possible because the Omnitrix was never removed, and continued to grow on Ben becoming part of him and vice-versa. Because Ben did remove it at a young age (at 11), it had been dormant and therefore had to be recalibrated when it was used again after 3-4 years.

The official stance in Classic was Ben 10’000 was Ben’s future-self, in UAF it was retconned saying the OG Ben 10K was just an alternate timeline while the UAF version was the “true future”, then in OV it was retconned again with the UAF version being completely ignored and the version of Ben 10K seen in OV being implied to be the the original version in the show and confirmed by crew statements.

Additional layers are added to this timeloop in the "No Watch Ben" arc. Spanner also directly reveals to Ben and Kai that they are married in the future he comes from (without revealing who _he_ is, directly acknowledging a time loop situation, they talk about them being fated to be together). The original Ben 10k never gave Grandpa Max that birthday cake in his timeline, the timeline was literally altered in the episode he was introduced, they make a point of that. He also evidently keeps the original Omnitrix into adulthood, which directly contradicts the events of Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, as Ben obtains the far different in design "official" Omnitrix at the end of Ultimate Alien, after the original prototype was destroyed. They go out of their way to show a completely different Ben 10k who kept the rebooted Omnitrix back in Alien Force, who also makes a point to state that he _remembers meeting the old version,_ but doesn't remember the time travelling escapades of his episode itself. The writers _have_ also insinuated that time travel altered the timeline, _back in the original series,_ with the pop up facts that were added on reruns, at the end of the original Ben 10k episode a pop up from the crew states that what we saw was a "possible future", that may not be what ends up happening. Again, the existence of Alien Force Ben 10k makes it very clear that time travel altered the future. This isn't headcanon, we very clearly get different future Ben's throughout the series, there's no way for the timeline to go back to the original Ben 10k after it was already made clear the timeline shifted with that second version of Ben 10k, the third one may be similar to the original, but they cannot be one and the same. They don't need to say it, they show it. Also, Kevin 11,000 is literally impossible by the events of Omniverse, huge contradiction, not unless they literally delete all of Kevin's character development. We litetally see a good guy version of Future Kevin at the end of Omniverse Season 8.

@@Cri_Jackal no that is very much head-canon, time travel is very inconsistent in this series and crew statements are changed all the time by new show runners, such as the pop up you mentioned the writers of Classic had little to no involvement in those pop ups and were mostly written by the UAF crew, the most recent statement state that the Ben 10K that appeared in classic and OV are the same version and that both versions are possible futures. It is never stated that the future changes by them meting.

I'm no therapist but Kevin was a kid that lived on the streets for most of childhood development and people were pretty hostile to him. As soon as he had the power to push back on a cruel world, he essentially developed sociopathic behavior (such as lack of empathy, vindictive nature and twisted sense of humor). As he got older and manage to get a father figure in the null void, he changed and after awhile he gain some sense of maturity. 1:58 Whomever told you that is only partially correct. They still had input on storyboards,designs,settings and stories but they weren’t the de facto main people writing everything out. The project was mainly spearheaded by the late Dwayne McDuffie for this project and i believe the season afterwards as he had some serious weight in the industry as he was one of the original co creators of the Dakota Comics Universe that was originally created with image comics if i remember. So he had massively expanded on the lore and story. the late Derrick J Wyatt also helped develop and had substantial influence for the designs and storylines as well but MOA still was the overseer of this series when needed to like review some stuff

@@madladdie7069 here’s the thing we don’t know whether or not Ben 10’000 took the watch off and the Omnitrixes have been established to have multiple forms so his gauntlet looking Omnitrix could very well be the result of a recalibration or other upgrade. Also …spoiler… …we’ve seen Ben meet his future self multiple times in Omniverse and not once did it change, and even in Ultimate Alien at the end of the episode with Ultimate Ben it’s stated that the timeline hadn’t changed. The official stance on the subject is that there are multiple possible futures.

This is a good series but some of the changes they introduced in it are weird. The Plumbers have nothing to do with the omnitrix yet in this series and later ones they oddly use the same symbol. The omnitrix’s purpose was to help the wearer understand/experience alien cultures not stop alien criminals, Asmuth isn’t part of the Plumber’s so the symbol should relate to him in some way as the creator, and the Plumbers predate the existence of the omnitrix so one would think their badge design existed already. You wouldn’t just randomly change the badge of a galaxy wide agency to the same as some kid on Earth if we try to pretend they changed it after Ben got the omnitrix. The retconing of Gwen into being the Magenta Lantern is one thing I will never get over as while her powers are cool they seem more… boring & limited compared to actual magic.

Pre-recalibration Omnitrix had a time-out because it was believed that if the wearer stayed an alien for too long, their DNA would mutate with the transformation. Post-recalibration Omnitrix moreso runs on energy, i.e. the initial transformation can be used for an unquantifiable period of time, but the more the device is used in that period especially when directly switching between transformations, the duration shortens.
