I have a theory that there are actually three versions of Eon since they all have different goals/personalities: RAT Eon is an AU Ben trying to save his people, UA Eon is RAT Ben who chose to become Eon again, and Omniverse Eon is just a less impressive version. That way Omniverse Eon has nothing to do with the other two.

Eon started out good in Race Against Time, he had a simple goal which was to save his dying race by any means he believed to be necessary. Ultimate Alien took Eon and turned him into an alternate Ben a concept they most likely got from the movie when Eon forced Ben to transform into a younger version of himself so that Ben could continue his work as Ron's body in that movie was dying due to various leaps through time. I kinda like how the Inktank handled Eon by taking some elements from all three versions we've seen and making it into one Eon, I'm pretty sure they kept Eon's original goal to save his dying race as his main goal.

Eon is actually a future version of Race against Time Ben who somehow managed to gain full access to his chronian transformation via Professor Paradox’s help but he eventually lost his mind destroying his world as a result for which he is now trapped in his Chronian form as punishment, while he mastered it’s time travel abilities that he decided to take over the universe as the new time god and overthrow Paradox. He ultimately planned to go back time and use the hand of Armageddon to bring back chornian invaders as revenge on paradox for trapping him like this but due to his chornian DNA’s accelerated aging process he became too weak to do it himself and was (temporarily) captured by the Plumbers as a backup plan he chose convince his younger self to embrace his chronian powers to take over. When he was removed from RAT timeline he decided to hunt down every Ben Tennyson across the Multiverse and use their power to regain his human form.

Kang didn’t suck, but wish scott and wasp would have remained stuck in the quantum realm. Kang will return once he conquers all his other probabilities inside that multiversal core.

This is really incredible. Watching Ben 10 when I was about 8 was the moment I fell in love with Ben 10. I have been obsessed with it! I remember a core memory of me in elementary school, I believe in 2nd grade, my school librarian had these cool bookmarks. When the movie came out, she ordered Omni-Trix bookmarks that can also turn into the watch. I had my dad use clear duct tape and secure it together and wore it everywhere.

I must admit that I always had some confusion when Eon is in the show. Mostly because I never was able to see the live action movie. And so I saw him the first time in UA. Man Eon needs his own story of how he became evil and demolished his timeline I bet it will be similar (to Ben 10 Reboot Alien X Tinction) his timeline shows when he battled Vilgax but when he try to save Gwen and Max after Vilgax knocked over the Ruskbucket his drones demolished it with them inside Ben was shocked and furious and he went berserk and beat him up in rage and after that he had to demolish the Omnitrix causing it to annihilating the cosmos but with that it Paradox was able to confront him. He begged him to find a way to save his Max and Gwen but he refused believing he was arrogant when he focused on Vilgax causing Ben to go rogue and Paradox sent him to his demolished universe as he is now the sole survivor but for that he ended up fully corrupted with evil and renamed himself Eon and with wearing black and purple his damaged Omnitrix became a portal device now that’s where he begin discovering the multiverse and started his reign of terror

That's because Eon has one of the most inconsistent backstorys in Ben 10. In Race Against Time the movie he debuted in he had a simple goal which was to save his species from dying out by any means that he believed were necessary and since his body was growing older and weaker through each leap through time he basically needed Race against Time Ben to act as a host for a younger version of Eon himself. Ultimate Alien practically took Eon and turned him into an alternate Ben dropping the whole save his dying race althougher which I didn't like that approach turning him into an alternate Ben because he wasn't one from the start. If you wanna understand more about Eon I do recommend looking up the one that Kuro the artist aka the Inktank made they've actually done this character justice

Unfortunately, he was too complicated of a villain for it to work. Eon was actually the most evil version of ben, who after losing the omnitrix, he used the leftovers to make a new guantlet that had powerful abilities, including the manipulation of time and space and is on a mission to make sure that every ben 10 from other universes are annihilated. By himself, it would have been one interesting villain, but by god, they ruined it. The doomsday gauntlets don't make any sense, the first alien ever being captured has no real meaning as that would bring plotholes in the forever knight story that didn't make any sense and an invasion that is never mentioned again was probably scrapped and used for the highbreed in alien force. Those things along with a character that isn't as terrifying as vilgax nor as understandable as the forever knights, and needed to be fixed in Ultimate Alien(so much so that the live action movie became unnecessary) until it got destroyed again in omniverse. Unless a GOOD reboot fixes this cool looking Ben, this guy goes as one of the most over complicated villains in all of ben 10

Eon is personally one of the most younik villains Ben 10 had to offer. A interdimensional warrior from an alien race which due to their own negligence drove themselves into extinction and now need the Omnitrix to save the remaining members. He is sort of a better take on General Zod from Man of Steel. Thus he cares for no one who dares stand in his way to accomplish this and is willing to kill anyone to save his species
