I'm an artist but not just that, but a manga artist and HUUUUGE BEN 1O Fan, I would be more than honoured to do some of the art for this comic. The truth is I'm actually planning on creating my very own BEN 1O Comic myself sometime in 2024, A Sequel series focusing on the adventures of Ben's Son Kenneth, My working title is called "KEN 1O: Hero of Tomorrow" or something

Yea that's an absolutely valid way of doing it. The main reason I decided against it, is because I feel using that iconography would make this series easier to get into for older and newer fans. But again, you're absolutely right that new aliens would make returning aliens hit all the harder.

Cool ideas! I would personally start a comic series with a 12 year old Ben, and not retread on the origin of the character too heavily. Maybe a brief sequence where Ben narrates that he found the Omnitrix at ten years old while on a summer trip with his grandfather and cousin, and he spent the summer fooling around with his aliens. Maybe he's more experienced with the omnitrix just by messing around with it, but had never really felt the call to action, or had faced any significant threats. He probably learned to use his powers to help others, but is still a child who doesn't fully grasp the gravity of the situation. First arc would be about the Forever Knights, who had caught wind of Ben's antics. Vilgax would be a distant threat, but his presence would be sprinkled throughout the run.

I like a lot of the ideas but I don't agree with some of them like you want Ben and Gwen's personality and their relationship to be the same as the original but also want them to be older that does not work. The bickering and the immaturity of both Ben and Gwen in the original series only worked because they were 10 it doesn't work if they're both 16. AF season 3 tried to make 15 year old Ben to act like 10 year old Ben and people hated it. It didn't work then and it won't work now. A big part of Malware's character is Azmuth who isn't introduced until Secret of the Omnitrix in season 4 of the original series so Malware being involved with Ben so early in the timeline doesn't make sense. He works a lot better as a post original series villain like he was in Omniverse when characters such as Azmuth are already introduced and Ben has some experience under his belt because he's way too powerful for Ben who is just starting out. Yes you could introduce Azmuth early but I don't think that would work. Also why would Malware work with Vilgax? What does he gain out of it? I personally think Malware works a lot better as a solo villain.

I'll admit, I didn't do the best in tryna explain the Ben and Gwen relationship or Malware's overall place in the story. I also wanna say that you're valid in feeling like this towards my decisions, though I would like to defend the choice for the sake of having a silly debate lmao. I did say that their relationship would be like the one in the original series, but they won't be acting like 10 years olds. They'll be acting like teenagers. Insecure of themselves, trying to find their place in everything, and the general awkwardness that comes with that. Which would also lead to these two being antagonistic towards each other more times than not, since they've never got the chance to know each other. And of course, they'd grow over the course of the series to get to that point. Not instantly, but slowly. As for Malware, I am taking a lot of creative liberties with him. You're not wrong in a lot of your statements, cause those are reasons he worked in the original story. But since I'm not trying to tell the original story 1-1, I feel changes like this add a lot of variety to the story telling. This isn't the Malware we're familiar with, but they also aren't entirely different. A there's so much more I could say, but this reply is already a jumbled mess of word salad lmao

Really they should just make her not related to him and be his love interest instead like the original concept. They bicker more like siblings or lovers over cousins, and Ben needs a genuinely well-written romance.

Azmuth shouldn't be introduced so late into the series, it worked as a finale to the original show but if you're gonna continue it into Ben's adulthood it'd make sense to put him in earlier.

A thing to remember, both art and animation hold back the show, some of the aliens would look better being more visceral like stinkfly being even more buggy and there are tons simple flashes to cover a lack of animation in the morphing or they just use the canned green space animation. Both of which are fine, it was a weekly airing show for children, but you ever look closely at Kevin 11 and his early transformations into alien shapes? It's intricately thought out.

There was a Ben 10 comic series. I had one issue: Ben's Knightmare where they had to steal a device from the Forever Knights to undo a mutation in Julie. Not all of the issues fit into the prime canon though like the one where Ultimate Echo Eco still could duplicate himself. Ironically, one issue that did otherwise fit included Dr. Animo creating a primate so evolved it literally turned into a god and peaced-out into space.

I don't know or forgot if you mentioned it in the video, but there were actually a few Ben 10 comics. Omniverse actually had quite a bunch of them (albeit kid-humor) with stories we never got to see in the show, like another Omnitrix user in Ben Prime's universe called Tim. Edit: pretty sure some of them took place in those kid magazines you find in convenience stores or supermarkets.

There were Ben 10 comics in the form of the CN action packs, and the Ben 10 magazines that used to come out during the show's run. They're nothing amazing but had some fun stories. Classic Ben goes to space camp and learns the ship has been sabotaged, Classic Ben fights a basically omnipotent monkey created by Dr. Animo, Classic Ben fights two different villains that can counter his aliens, AF Ben time travels and fights 10 year old Ben, AF Ben gets Brainstorm's intellect and ego in his human form, UA Ben fuses with Julie and no I'm not making any of these up. I think Generator Rex had some too but I could never find them.

Though the only thing I would change is ben being 15 instead of 16 so that he's a freshman in high school and has more of a reason for not thinking about his future. Also Malware is such a good choice as a starting villain.

What if when Vilgax makes his first appearance it's a remix of Secrets of the Omnitrix. Let me set the scene. The Omnitrix's self destruct sequence has been activated, Tetrax makes his first appearance to try an take Ben to Asmuth to stop the countdown(and also confiscate the watch). To add more depth to Ben who already feels inferior to his perfect magical cousin and space grandfather will be informed that the watch wasn't meant for Ben, instead his grandfather. Asmuth takes the watch away, but returns it because Max proves to Asmuth there's more to Ben than meets eye, in the meantime Ben will go through a arc realizing what it really means to be a hero. The arc would end a climatic battle between Ben, his family, and Tetrax fighting against Malware, maybe Kevin, and the debut of Vilgax. This defeat will set in motion the infamous conflicts and quest of vengeance between Ben and Vilgax.

loved the video! i've had a few ideas of myself for a new ben 10 seires, starting way from the beggining, i'd really like it to either e a show or a comic, if if had to pick an artist, it'd definitely be cory walker from invincible, coloring wise, i'd get bill crabtree, and try to get him to mimic his coloring style in the early issues of invincible story wise i really liked your ideas! though i'd kind of like for ben to be a little younger, not 10, but maybe like 13/14 ish? he'd still be a kid, he'd just be a little older, another thing is i really enjoy the vibes from the OS era, and i'd try and capture some of that! but one thing, while obviously i'd still have some of the stuff live vilgax's drones attacking him, and maybe ghostfreak, i'd want to hone in on the SUPER HERO aspect of ben! in my vision he'd be addicted to super hero comic books, and wishes he could be one! i want to see him stopping bank robbers, purse-snatchers and the like! i really like the tone you went for! i'd also have mine be a bit dark but still cheery too, save the touching moments for when they're needed, not for shock value like you said one "scene" i imagined was another ending for the ending of the episode "the visitor", where xylene is helping ben defeat the volgax drone, and then, ben sees she really does care for max, and loves him, so he swallows his pride and stops being stubborn and trying to take her advice more into account, and in the end, when they are partng ways, he goes up to xylene and has a little talk with her, he apologizes for the way he acted, for calling her lizard lady and all that, and says that if she wanted to stick around a little she could, she seems pretty cool, but she says she can't stay, she has to contact someone of huge importance, and before she leaves ben says one more thing to her "again, i'm really sorry for the way i acted, i understand if you don't wish to forgive me, but i want you to know this, if you need us, you can contact my grandpa someway and we'll try our best to help you" amused she says "thanks ben... and oh, one more thing" as she reaches for the omnitrix, touching it's dial, to ben's surprise, as the omnitrix glows yellow ben recognizes what's going on "it's like in new mexico with the werewolf", he thinks as the yellow hue subsides, ben says, looking at the silhouetted figure in the watch's dial "hell yeah! always thought mind powers might come in handy one day!"

@@Cmcbookidiot4326 thanks! i'm gonna buy a new sketchbook soon and may start jotting down ideas i have for it! one weird little thing i kind of wanted to incorporate even though it's kind of silly is a little more insight into the aliens biology! since it's my favorite subject lol, i'd try and make them as realistic as possible, maybe even making a few redesigns to make them a little more alien, but the biology aspect would probably needsomework lol, most likely would be like the "and beyond" series by the ink tank!
