I feel his "confusion" in this matter so well lol like, I *know*, rationally, that there is every reason not to ship darklina and to want the darkling to rot in hell and all that, but... you know, at least in the show, Ben plays the darkling SO well, with so much depth, that it's kinda hard not to secretly (or not so secretly haha) wish he gets a redemption arc and not to be excited whenever a darklina scene happens haha
