How he sees America as having the potential to do greater things for itself and, to become a leader and a role model for others. I respect him for acknowledging a Higher Power who has control over all. For giving much thought and care about the next generation. It is true that you make a great nation by preparing the hearts and minds of the next generation who will live in it.

one thing i noticed about dr. ben carson is his natural ability to be able to speak in layman terms when talking to others who are not going to be proficient in a lot of medical terms, especially when it comes to words and terms related to the brain and brain functions. many people who specialize in a field, be it medical or otherwise, tend to use words and terms that have become a standard part of their own vocabulary but forget that the person who they are speaking with quickly becomes lost in what is being said because they have never needed to know or use those words or terms in their every day life and have probably have never even heard the words or terms before, might less know what they mean. no doubt, not only a gifted neurosurgeon, he is a gifted speaker as well and seems to have no problem speaking with people on a level which they can understand and doing it naturally and in a non condescending way.

Here a surprise, I respect Ben Carson for his medical achievements; but some of what he says is just hog wash. He so lucky that he was not born 100 years ago, as he would have not reached the heights as he did as doctor. And Ben is from the real hood, Detroit City... not the suburbs of Chicago. And I just used Kanye as an example.. you already know the list goes on and on.

Terrence Ago Priorities have nothing to do with it. They don't know of what makes men great. They see success and dire poverty, the successful men are the criminals. Who would you choose? There is no notion that police are good guys. They know little to nothing about great men of the past. Men such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Winston Churchill, and others are the men who inspired Ben Carson. Other teenage boys who turn to violence and criminality have no idea what type of men King or Churchill were, and how they were self-made.

Ben Carson is a gifted and blessed man. He has been given so much. Luke 12:48 says, "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much will be asked." Ben Carson's journey is incredible. Many people with similar paths as he did not have the success that he has. The Most High has planned for each of us. We all have a plan. However, our choices will be the pivotal outcome of our life. Carson's life inspires many to never give up and to believe in their dreams and aspirations.

Glad I watched this video this evening. Looking forward to reading Dr. Carson's books. His answers to complex issues are fascinating and easy to understand. Congress is full of gangsters who profit from political divisions. There is the reason why major issues are never solved. They are allowed to grow like a tumor; and the patient is terminally ill, and death stalks.

I I can resonate with Dr. Carson because I was born to a teenage mother and do not even know my biological father and could have ended up on a road very different but God stuck by me even through the bad times and I am actually more successful in American, despite coming from a broken home, than are many people living outside the US coming from an intact home with a mom and dad. Lots of opportunities in the US to better yourself. I especially want to commend trade schools and community colleges because I believe those instructors and professors really care about each person in their class. It really baffles me when people complain about the US when there is so much opportunity
