Absolutely one of the best lyrics in any song: "The cruelest lies are often told, without a word. The kindest truths are often spoken, never heard"

I don't think I've ever seen a piano played harder than this.

This song is incredible. Everytime I watch this performance I notice something new. At 2:33 Ben's straight up just slamming on the lower register with his palms. Truly made the piano a rock instrument.

she said 'you been pushing me like i was a sore tooth. you can't respect me cos i've done so much for you' he said 'well i hate that it's come to this, but baby i was doing fine, how do you think that i survived the other 25 before you?' the most epic of burns.

g funk Always resonates deep within. It’s a positive message that only survivors know. Not merely relationships but the kick downs that life gives. This single part of the song gives me goosebumps and spurs me on.

"If you really loved me", she said, "I wouldn't have to be so mean." What a great ending line!

I saw you guys play 2nd stage at the Lollapalooza with Metallica & Soundgarden in Kansas City in the 90's. Last Lolla I ever went to. I talked to Ben after the set and he talked about how well the debut album was selling. I listened to your albums so much in the 90's and will always love you guys.

One of the best live performances ever. Couldn’t believe they actually pulled this one off.

Well, she crept back in the house at half past three Shook her head to see him snoring in his sleep "If he really loved me," she said "I wouldn't have to be so mean" verse He's a heap of junk that pours from his top drawer He sometimes likes to spread it out around the floor It's evidence of what he was like He likes to remember when chorus Sha-la-li, sha-la-li-lo-li, the end is growing near And we're treading water now and holding back our tears And the day is rising, we're sinking Sha-lie-lie-lo-lie verse In a minute, it will all be coming down And they know it now, but no one makes a sound It's such a shame to ruin this bright, lazy, sunny day chorus Sha-la-lie, sha-la-lie-lo-lie, the end is growing near And we're treading water now and holding back our tears And the day is rising, we're sinking Sha-lie-lie-lo-lie bridge My, my, the cruelest lies are often told without a word My, my, the kindest truths are often spoke but never heard verse She said, "You've been pushing me like I was a sore tooth You can't respect me 'cause I've done so much for you" He said, "Well, I hate that it's come to this But, baby, I was doing fine How do you think that I survived the other 25 before you?" chorus Sha-la-lie, sha-la-lie-lo-lie, the end is growing near And we're treading water now and holding back our tears And the day is rising, we're sinking Sha-lie-lie-lo-lie

I wonder if yet that West 54th and Ben Fold's have got to the eventuality anyone concerned might coalesce under the opinion of, meaning the pair constitute what may very well constitue synonymy. Synonym! That's word
