I met Robbie in 1994-1995 season and he was the nicest professional footballer I've ever met. We were in the old car park in the ground and it started to rain and told me and my brother to sit into his car so we could continue talking. I still talk about it!

Great that. He’s only from Toxteth. He’s a scouser.

Robbie Fowler was the most naturally gifted strikers to ever play for Liverpool. If Liverpool had a Fowler today, we’d win everything. He could score blindfolded.

I went to a random house party once to watch the golf when it was on the Wirral, and Robbie was randomly there, I hate golf but Robbie was so sound.

Been a supporter of LFC for over 40 years and my memories lie more from the mid 80s. We always had the foundations of pass and move that varied from heavy-metal to more measured. Klopp restored belief into us that was lost under Brendan Rodgers. Under slot, we don't employ too much of the high line and we play away from home more 4-2-3-1. Grav and Mac Allister with Zobo have been instrumental for us in terms of protecting the Defense. Looks like these guys are singing from the same hymn sheet. Fowler was one of my 90s beloved 🙂

No issue with Trent wanting to try pastures new. Just be honest and if leaving don’t drop the urgency / attitude needed, especially when needing to defend. Robbie 18-21 years of age, 30 goals a season. Natural. Young player these days scores 10 and he’s a superstar and wants £150,000 a week

I will tell you something today. GOD is an absolute hero at Liverpool and will remain a true legend in all senses of the word. But I just cant forgive Foster for his comments made during the Covid season when Liverpool won the league after almost 30 years. I remember him and Deany who were both playing for Watford at the time being interviewed on SKY sports and they were crying their eyes saying the season should be terminated because of the Covid situation. It just happens that Watford were going to be relegated that year from the premiership. That interview has stuck with me ever since and maybe I should get over it but I cant take to Foster and if Deany comes on the radio or tv I just turn it off cant stand the man. Both are not true professionals in my honest opinion, look I understand if any one out there likes them but its just my opinion so don't start getting on my case.

It is blown a bit out of proportion though. When he has a good game defensively no one really takes notice but when he's had a bad game which he does have, everyone jumps on the bandwagon
@peterlpool138717 сағат бұрын
He needs to a number 6 to cover him better. He can defend but his game is based on getting further forward to utilise his creativity. He can’t be in two places at the same time. He’s more or less reinvented the right-back position, but it comes with a down side if the opposition breaks and overloads the left channels. There’s your answer mate.
