A truly great video. I felt compelled, however, to raise a point of disagreement with Mr. Habib that 'religion should be a private matter kept in one's back pocket'. Superstition is rightly so considered, but genuine religion (cognate with ligature) is and must always be truly public and civic, functioning as the moral backbone, the trellis to which the nation's growth is 're-bound' by the ligature. I do not advocate any specific religion, as even atheism could so function, but point out that a large part of our religious problems stem from what was initially agnosticism - the principle that the one thing we know about spiritual matters is that we can know nothing about spiritual matters, and so should not make any pronouncements on them from the 'national soapbox' - having turned into a religion proper, to which we are now being re-bound: Universalism, where all creeds are considered 'true', and so any form of severe religious criticism is in a sense sacrilege. But unless Universalism is true, which rather strains credulity when the various conflicting credal statements are considered, this is simply an incoherent failure state as regards religion and its civic duties. This sort of toleration is often touted as a 'British value', but almost all our nation's history runs contrary to this assertion; we have historically almost always been functionally aware of the public and civic *reality* of religion, aside from purely spiritual matters.

I think a big problem is the use of the word community. A community used to mean everyone regardless of age, race, religion, sexual preference, marital status, class, income, etc, etc, who live and or work in your neighbourhood and who interact with each other on a regular basis. It doesn't mean that anymore. It now means a type of demographic who could live and work many many miles apart, who don't even know each other, but who share a specific characteristic or belief. A community is now just a label that divides us up into groups of one dimensional strangers. This is just one of the things that has caused social erosion. Most places no longer have a genuine community.

I totally agree that we should not change First Past The Post. We need it to be able to achieve our goals and what we do not want is, say, a sectarian party to have power in our Parliament. That would not be good for our country.

In the animal kingdom each type of creature maintains its own kind, they do not cross breed. Humans do and this can work out just fine. However when different cultures come together they rarely assimilate. Each wants to defend its own “type” so much like the animal kingdom. Nothing racist about it, its survival of the race you are born in. No one calls an animal a racist. In our own country we must have the right to choose who comes here whether singly or en masse. We cannot be wiped out.

This man has a lot of heart, speaks well and had the balls to call out the demographic replacement currently occurring on OFCOM regulated TV. I’m suspicious of Yousef - seems like he popped up out of nowhere. We need to do our upmost to bring him back into Reform

Every time I hear Ben Habib speak, my opinion of him goes up. And he's one step ahead of Nigel in realising that PR is very unlikely to lead to the delivery of the policies we need.

What seems to be the conclusion is that Reform should embrace a kind of Neo-Powellism. That does seem to be the only real solution to our situation: A two pronged policy of assimilation AND remigration. We must share a common perspective of history and sense of identity or we are not a nation but a series of nations inhabiting the same territory.

A fantastic programme and it is wonderful to hear Ben Habib at length explain his views and policies. I don't disagree with him on anything he said.

I see Ben as a Minister for the Union within Reform. The only person qualified to amalgamate the unionist voters of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Millions of extra votes and powerful seats in Westminster.

you need to democratize the UK and alter the voting system so there is actual representation. If that doesn't happen....there will be civil war. The British aren't afraid to fight for their right to party.

On subject of " the French option " in policing , just like to point out that this approach has failed as well, more knife crime, violence in France today than ever before. Answer is zero immigration and deportation of troublemakers..

I broadly agree with Ben Habib. First Past the Post grants the power to implement policy, whereas PR leads to internal deals and dilution into mediocrity.

I expect Nigel Farage wants to get Reform firmly “bedded in” as a Parliamentary party and working opposition before he thinks about democratisation.

While not perfect or accepted 100% my family integrated into Canada and those of us who come from more than one culture did well and it is funny how we all studied the same things as the host population and there wasn't much issue but now despite all the DEI everyone hates each other more than ever and it all started in the late 90s with the "we don''t want to do such and such because it MAY offend such and such" treating everyone as a blanket without asking us. I saw no problem celebrating Christmas/Easter/Thanksgiving/Halloween etc while not everyone in my family likes every holiday they didn't stop others from doing it. Today's system of not integrating doesn't work and needs to stop.

Contrary to what Ben Habib said. I worked in unemployment benefit office in the 1970s and we had hundreds of immigrants on our books, often with very similar names, who hoodwinked the inspectors as to who they were. Perhaps in the 1960s, a little earlier many came and worked in the mills but by 1970s most of these were closed down. The story aboit us needing workers is nonsense as a proportion of some immigrants just do not work.
