Seriously I used to love the lions 2 or 3 years ago, but they've had 2 decent seasons and the whole fan base has turned into the equivalent of eagles fans 😂. Can't stand them anymore. Goes chiefs lions eagles in thay order for my least favorite teams right now. At least both those teams have recent superbowls. Lions haven't even sniffed one 😂

Because the division just got swept with little effort with a defense full of rookies, Late season practice squad pickups and guys off their couches. No SBs wins yet. But good enough to poach from I guess. And the funny part is you poached the guy that was largely responsible not just for the wins but the poor play that helped lose the 3 games they lost. BJZ is great 90% of the time. But that other 10% is a big problem. Good luck.

I was talking about Lions fans being so overly confident when the team hasn’t even been to a SB yet. I get the excitement but the way some fans were talking you would think they were playing to win their 3rd straight SB like the Chiefs.

The aforementioned Chiefs fans? The Bears? They suck and still can’t accept it. Poach a coach and now they are gonna win it all? At the beginning of this season they were gonna sweep the divison. How’d that go? Maybe only the very worst teams. Lions fans have been living humility for longer than most other fans have been alive. You think Lions fans don’t see other fan bases the same way? Stick, your network and hosts are a very large part of hyping the expectations. I had to turn WSN off for the two weeks prior to the game. It was way too much and not realistic. It stopped being a discussion and became more like preaching the gospel. I’ve been watching this team for maybe 55 years. More hype equals a bigger let down. You had almost every host guaranteeing a win! Loudly! I get the excitement but it has to be tempered just a little at times. If someone shows a bit of doubt they get destroyed. Discussion makes the show better. Example, I love Neal’s rants. I laugh thru them. I laugh even harder if he targets me and my comments. It’s part of why I’m there. You e created something fantastic. But shows of mostly one way rants doesn’t really hold up long term. The rants are best supported by discussion. They are not the same old Lions completely. The way they lost the last two years was very indicative of SOL. SOL is finding a way to destroy fans by not just losing but losing embarrassingly. The 15-2 season was part of the hype setting up the SOL type ending. I’m 63 and been watching since I was a little kid. The only games I’ve missed that entire time I couldn’t help while in the military. I know what SOL is and feels like. I never agree with Anson. But I mostly do this time. I’m running out of time. I fall into that perfect age range to be punished the longest. The current team success often feels more like a big tease. That’s no fun! Suggestion: Stop pulling rank on the show. That’s a bad look. You provoke a response and even a bit of personal ridicule then not like the response back?But I must also admit that a vast majority of the time you don’t and it appears your hosts feel free to engage with you. But, you failed this time sir. Could I do better? Probably not. BTW, what’s on the field is better. Until it’s not. SOL is pissing off Las Vegas! Losing when you are heavily favored IS SOL. There is no single SOL definition, It’s what is in a fan’s heart and soul. The futility. And lastly, this new expectation of winning a SB is obviously still unrealistic. They still aren’t that close and are seeing a few setbacks in coaching. They are closer but not to the current expectations level. And that really started to be unrealistic when Hutchinson got hurt. But the WSN hype train discounted it and kept blowing up the hype. I know. It’s good for business. So is the way they lost. The talk alone is good for business. I do respect that angle. But the bigger the hype the more people buy into it and the bigger the let down. And then you get into those people for being let down for falling for the hype you helped create. Don’t dismiss many of your subscribers because they see SOL differently than you do. My pet peeve is being told how to be a fan by someone decades younger and decades less SOL. 😀 Do think what ya’ll did creating and building WSN is impressive. But I also think that if you don’t look into spreading it to other markets you are making a big mistake. Thanks!
