Thanks Brian.Yeah,really enjoyed going over the Arete and it's a bit of a shock when u get to the summit of Nevis.After years of bumping into 3 or 4 people in a day on summits to hordes of folk standing in a line waiting to take a pic.🙄👍

The best way to climb Ben Nevis 😊😊. Not overly difficult while not too easy either - and the best views.

Lovely vid again Andy, pity you didn’t get many views up there. Lovely hike across the arête then boom it’s like Argyll st up at the summit😂😂 just a constant stream as you head down also. I’d love to try the arête in winter conditions.

Thanks Frank.Loved the Arete.I would say the pull up to Nevis was the hardest bit of the day and to see a queue for a summit selfie was horrible.Was glad to get by eveyrone at the halfway Lochan.9 years since i was last up there.....probably be another 9 till i return.🤣🤣👍

Great video Andy, though couldn't bare that route back down. Done it last year by the Arete route after saying for ages I had no interest in climbing it but loved that Arete route and got it quite quiet which was lucky. Came back along the ridge and headed down the front of it and into the valley just before it starts to rise again towards the summit of CMD. Back in a couple of weeks to try Ledge route now.

Thanks guys.Yeah loved getting CMD and doing the Arete.knew Nevis was going to be busy.Was prepared for the descent.🤣🤣I tanned a can of Red Bull,stuck my Ear buds and jogged down by eveyrone to the halfway Lochan where all the crowds disappeared the other way down as i headed back to North Face car park.🤣🏃

Thanks Ally.It's a bit of a shock to the system the volume of human traffic on Nevis compared to what were are used to on other mountains.The Arete was amazing even though I didn't see too much of it.Great fun hopping from rock to rock.😃

Brilliant mate. Wee question...hows the route from car park to the summit of CMD.... I'm tempted to do that for my 100th, got a few folk coming with me that havent done a mountain before, so thinking maybe do the CMD and back down. It needs to be something special for me for the 100th, but manageable for others that are coming with me. Or whats your thoughts on Stob Ban at the grey corries..that looks awesome, and theres the wee bothie there in case the folk coning with me have hsd enough and could wait there..lol Or..any other suggestions mate Many you got left mate 🤟

Hey Andy,good path from the car park then when u start heading up the mountain the path turns pretty boggy for 1st half of mountain.Resorts back fairly decent for the remainder. Stob Ban has a dodgy wee road to get into that fair rocks ur car about,lol.lovely walk all the same with the "Wee Minister" to pass and the bothy for a rest.😀Both good choices for ur 100th.

@PAADVENTURES1 it's the forecasts Paul.They have been wrong.Kept saying it was going to rain and the last 2 outings,not a drop.Was getting geared up for going into Knoydart and camping but put it off due to forecast.🙄
