Not sure taking time to reflect on the birth of Christ constitutes a sin in the bible. I guess all the hoopla is where Christians go wrong. Religious zeal leads to strange places on either side.

I think it's because they Believe that Christmas (at least in its current form) is an amalgamation of a lot of different traditions, including pagan ones.
