The Heir Chronicles by Cinda Williams Chima--wizards, warriors, sorcerers, enchanters. It is pretty good. More Fantasy but set in modern America and UK. Also, love Sweep by Cate Tiernan and A Discovery of Witches.

The Circle of Three by Isobel Bird is another great Wiccan/Witch series.

I just read Hexed and the sequel Charmed, They were the first witchcraft/magical books I've read and I was unexpectedly surprised by how much I liked them. I would definitely recommend them both!

The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong has a lot of magical elements. I also think you'll enjoy Paranormalcy by Kiersten White as well as Revealers by Amanda Marrone.

Spellcaster by Claudia Gray is a good witch book, just finished it last week. Also Lifetime just came out with a TV series, Witches of East End based on the books. I just started watching the series, I haven't read the books yet but I really want to. The show is amazing so I'm sure the book is even better.

Great recommendations! I really want to read "A Discovery of Witches." And also that series that takes place during Elizabeth I's reign. Have you read the "Wicked" series by Gregory Maguire? It's a retelling of "The Wizard of Oz" but has plenty of witchcraft and magic in it.

Read the Elemental series by Brigid Kemmerer. i dunno it thats how you spell it correctly. Although its this series is not witch crafty, it has 4 brothers with different elements (earth,fire,water,air) and theres also a person that has can control spirit.

Benjamin! I think you'd LOVE Witch Eyes. Not only does it have a Romeo and Juliet type love story with awesome witchcraft but it's one of not many YA books with a male/male romance! :) It's awesome you should check it out!

You should check out Tate Hallaway. She has an adult and YA series about witches. They both have vampires too. But they are so awesome!!!! Also I have Dead Witch Walking and would love to do a read along!

I LOVED this video! Witches are probably one of my favorite supernatural creatures and somehow I've only read one or two books about them (not counting Harry Potter, of course) I liked The Secret Circle first book but it wasn't "witchy" enough for me. I liked How I Fawd You and you seem so in love with Sweep series I'm starting to consider reading them as well. thank you soooo much for the recommendations! :)

I read The Circle in Swedish and wasn't that fond of it actually. But if you enjoyed you will really like Fire. (The sequel) Hihi you pronounced the authors name really funny :) A Discovery of Witches is awesome and Hex Hall is a really entertaining read. Great video with great recommendations! I bet you'd like the House of Night series Also, did you really read the Secret Circle? or is it like some others on your list where you've just heard their good or assume they are? Because the novels and the TV show fail are NOTHING alike. The TV show has that "Mean Girls" vibe while the the novels aren't like that at all. The novels are a lot more mature and less on the "petty" side that a "Mean Girls" type thing would imply. That isn't to say that is doesn't have it's moments, as it is centred around teens, but it definitely doesn't have that all around vibe - if it did I never would have read them

I have and amazing series its not witches but it is magical and fantastical by the author Anne Bishop the first series is The Black Jewels Trilogy its quite an old series but really amazing :)

You should check out Balefire By Cate Tiernan, it is a series but they made a bind up of all the books into one big book. Also check out Immortal Beloved series By Cate Tiernan...She is a brilliant author! After I read Sweep I had to read all her books :)
