My hope is that you never get bored of making reylo edits because you're so AMAZING! The song choice again is just *chefs kiss* I think Mumford & Sons songs always have this vibe that is just perfect for reylo. I LOVE "gave you all" and "broken crown" so much, they are such emotional dramatic pieces that just tear your soul, then mend it and then tear it again. I always get in "the zone" when I'm listening to them and now I listen to them while watching your edits... and it's just truly an experience like no other!

Aaaaaahhhh I'm so glad you ended up using this song for them!! It really is perfect, and I feel like no one could have done it justice like you! I love that you started off with showing the burden of their familial legacies. It fits so well with the theme of the song and how no matter how hard you try to escape your past/lineage, you often just can't! The way you faded from her helmet to his is gorgeous! And I love how you blended them for the screen cap too! Eep using the "I feel it again, the pull to the light" for the transition between "You can't tempt me if I don't see the day" and "the pull on my flesh was just too strong"!!! THAT WAS AMAZING!! Combining "I see through the cracks in your mask" and "You can't hide, Rey. Not from me." "I feel the conflict in you. It's tearing you apart. Ben..." "But I do" brilliant!!! I love the way they see through each other and know each other better than anyone. Ooo the way you combined the two scenes at "I will not speak of your sin" - Ben killing Han and the way he has to push Rey to voice that out loud!! So powerful!! And I started to tear up at "there was a way out for him" with Han's forgiveness and Ben getting to relive it right and heal. /sobs/ "The mirror shows not" Do i even need to say how perfectly you nailed that lyric match? "So hold my hand. Consign me not to darkness" Jesus the line to basically describe Ben's feelings for Rey. lol of course you always use the hand moments flawlessly!!! And the puppy dog face as she shuts the door on him and the "please"!! JFC all the feels!!!! And of course when the beat picks up you excelled at that as always!!! Perfect use of action and sound effects!!! Love Ben breaking his mask for the broken crown line!! Also OUCH with the end of TLJ "I took the road and I fucked it all away" with Ben fighting Luke's projection, breaking the light saber, and Han's dice disappearing. My heart! This is the ultimate angst song for Ben lol I also think it was a great choice to use Vader's helmet for the "broken crown" line!! Both literally and metaphorically! Eep and paralleling the scenes of Ben fighting with Rey from TLJ and TROS!! I love the light saber behind his back as he prepares to engage! :DD "In this twilight how dare you speak of grace?" "you have too much of your father's heart in you, young Solo" OMG WTF I AM OFFICIALLY DEAD!!! Especially with the scenes you used with it!!! Rey seeing Ben has turned and their kiss OMG DUDE!!!! I can't breathe!!! Oh god....the ending. When I pictured this song for Ben/Reylo, I too saw it ending like that. But it still fucking hurts, and I will pretend it doesn't end there. lol xD But it was SO haunting and emotional. My soul hurts now!! Can you just vid them to every M&S song? I vote White Blank Page and Lover of the Light next! lol seriously though, this was gorgeous! You are incredible as always! Forever in awe!!!

Hehe aaww I would dig an AU fic where they meet in jakku and we could have a dual mask removal moment!! There aren't too many pre-TFA fics like that. This is so intricately put together and made with such care, every beat was in time with a frame of video. You have a way of driving action and drama into the video in one moment and with the music, letting other parts mellow and still at once. So many things to say about all your videos, and I can't even put into words all of them because there are TOO many. I hope to be as good an editor as you one day, in a very very distant future perhaps, because this takes so much skill. Well done, seriously 😊❤️

I feel like you've done all the best ones that live in my heart. 😂Honestly your videos mean so much to me and I have so many of your videos in my favourite fandoms edits. I've only just completed my first full edit a few months back. It was really difficult but completing it felt so good. If you don't mind me asking, what's your process of picking clips? I sometimes have difficulty digging through clips and displacing them where they fit nice with the music 😅😊

@@GossipVal1 yes, haha it feels quite difficult. I love when I feel like I'm onto something but it can be frustrating too. 😂 Oh my gosh, thank you! I was gonna keep the video as just something to do personally, mainly because I couldn't escape the song from my thoughts of the show but my friend convinced me to put it up so 😅 I'm glad you liked it, that means so much to me. I feel I might work the same as you then. I'll work on a section each and try and intersect clips that relate to feeling, rise in the song and what the lyrics say about the person or what they're going through. My only problem is making something linear or not. Like whether to use the start of a song with clips from the beginning of a show to show progression or using what feels best for the beat, lyrics etc. I know it applies to different circumstances but I have trouble with it still. 😅 You really don't suck at understanding, I understand what you mean perfectly. I was in the process of making a video surrounding The Great as I just finished watching it and it made me feel so many things. Only thing is, is that I lost some of the work so my motivation isn't really with me right now. 😢😅 Yeah I'd love to hear any other tips or advice you have!

@@KitAE0 I'm glad your friend convinced you to upload the video! :D I personally pretty much never go linear with my edits haha unless i'm using an instrumental song and want to tell the story from start to finish. But when there are lyrics i always go with that instead and what fits them best! Oh that sucks you lost some of the work you started on! Hopefully you'll have motivation again soon! :)

You always, vid them with so much power that I end up being pulled into the editing and scenes in a way that no other video by anyone else can do. I really loved this one. All of the looks and audio choices mixing together with the parallels. I love it 1:57-2:00 was just brilliant with the use of scenes being switched between the slow build up. "so hold my hand" that entire line and then the jump to alllll the fighting and how they're constantly going in opposite directions at the same time as being pulled toward one another kind of like gravity really. Going between the scenes 03:29-03:32 was brilliant as well basically a symbol of dropping his mask and how that leads to her being gone and his final decision. That ending line was chilling and so true. Thanks for making this for us!
