Your description tho 👌 so bloody accurate, its the answer I give any time someone asks why I ship reylo: (The force/storyline ships it lol) they're meant to be together in a way no one will ever be able to: they've both been through shit they hide away but bc of their connection they can't conceal it from each other or run away from it, they know the deepest parts of each other no one else ever could. Especially with Rey, who has this outwardly extraverted happy go lucky facade she puts on so no one sees the deep seeded issue she has with abandonment and wanting to feel belonging with her parents(but like Marz prophesied: the belonging u seek is not behind you but ahead), yet with Kylo she can't fake it she has to face up to these problems and kylo helps- with him she feels true belonging (all she's ever wanted, its why reylo doesn't just benefit kylo but is just as essential to Rey too). Like they're literally made soulmates by the force 🤣, you can't tell me this is a non romantic relationship bc come on its too fucking deep for an enemy/rivalry situation idc

Beautiful editing. I love how you say in your description that he loves her so much and he saved her as a Jedi. The story of this two is a hidden jewel that deserved more time, more moments, more scenes together, but in our heart we feel it, and maybe for them less is more. I'm proud of us reylo fans. OMG OMG OMG!!!! I CAN'T BREATHE. I AM CRYING SO HARD RIGHT NOW!! Wow...I don't really know how to process this one. You really broke me. This was just so beautiful. You touched my freaking soul. I'm absolutely floored. Your videos are so emotional, and I live for it!! I don't even know what to say at this point, because I am feeling so much. It's kind of overwhelming for me, so I will try to leave a typical Ashley detailed comment, but I can't guarantee it won't just be repeatedly saying "I'm crying!!!" lol xD The way you started off with scenes of them sensing each other or just mirroring each other with the "awakening" voice over is just awesome right from the start! This awakening was them coming together and bringing balance to the force, hence you following this up with Ben asking "Why is the force connecting us?" And eep one of my absolute fave parts of the vid is the "People keep telling me they know me" + "You can't hide Rey. Not from me" THAT IS SO MEANINGFUL AND POETIC BECAUSE HE DOES NOT MEAN THAT SHE CAN'T HIDE GEOGRAPHICALLY. LOL HE MEANS THAT SHE CAN'T HIDE WHO SHE IS FROM HIM. HE KNOWS HER!! I swear, my heart is about to burst. This video is killing me!!! "So lonely" I love that you basically made that two scenes where their parents fade away. Hers in the mirror and his by Han's dice disappearing. POWERFUL PARALLEL THAT AGAIN IS SENDING PAIN STRAIGHT THROUGH MY ENTIRE BEING!! lol "You can't go back to her now. Like I can't" I so love that scene and the way you combined it with the moment when he chooses not to shoot at Leia...incredible!! That packed a punch!!! He really thinks he is a monster and couldn't dare go back to his mom, but he clearly wants to. It is written all over his face in these scenes. My baby. :'( I also really love the way you showed both Ben and Rey grappling with their fears and feelings of loss. I like that you showed Rey fearing her own dark side over the "You're afraid" voice over as well as her dark side (using the lightning blast to blow up the ship) for "You are a monster" I don't really think I have seen that done before, and it is so clever! You are just again showing how connected these two are and how similar they are despite the differences. It feels like Rey is more naturally light, but can't let go of her darkness while Ben is dark but can't let go of his light. BALANCE! And you drove that home again with Luke's quote "powerful light, powerful darkness" focusing on Rey and then Ben!! Aaaaah!!! Yes to combining the "You're not alone" with "the belonging you seek is not behind you. It is ahead"!! With the very clearly not platonic kiss. Just saying. lol xD I adore the way you matched the scenes with "two that are one" with their hands connected and then them standing side by side ready to fight. That flowed so perfectly! And the "I know what I have to do" right before the lyrics start was such great timing!!! I love everything about this video. I have such chills right now! ANOTHER FAVE MOMENT!!! "REACH OUT WITH YOUR FEELINGS" OMG DUDE OMG!!! I have never seen that voice over used with her literally reaching out to Ben!!! WOW!! That hit me so hard I actually made a noise that was some kind of squeak or squeal lol THAT IS SO EPIC OMG!! "Even after death"...I am not going there. Because I will combust. lol but of course you matched that lyric amazingly and my spirit is shook by it! lol but the "What do you see?" "Balance" again with Rey standing side by side or rather back to back with Ben!! I love the way the scenes of them fighting (especially when they are fighting TOGETHER as opposed to against each other), are filmed to show the dyad/soul mate/twin flame balance they have. So gorgeous. I love that you combined the quotes about compassion!!! That is so accurate. The unconditional love that Ben felt for Rey just couldn't be ignored. 3:04 like...he is freaking interrogating her and reading her mind, but look how soft his face is there. The compassion is clear from even then. I wish they had kept Snoke's quote in the film! "His compassion for you will be his undoing" OH NO YOU DIDN'T OMG WHAT DO I EVEN SAY TO THAT? HOLY HELL. I CAN'T!! I feel like you're taking a sledgehammer to my heart, and I am oddly enjoying it! haha and 3:21 with them lying on the ground next to each other. I don't know why, but that image is really getting to me right now! I am still trying to type through tears fyi! I adore the way you showed Ben fulfilling what his grandfather couldn't do by saving the woman he loved, and by doing it with his light and love. I find that so moving. Ben always had the shadow of his grandfather hanging over him, with his family fearing her would go dark like Anakin and with Snoke/Palpatine wanting him to, but at the end of the day, the way he did live up to and surpass Anakin was by saving Rey. Not darkness. Light. GOD. I am hurting so much right now lol I really lost it when you started flashing back and forth between them healing each other. I actually went from a few tears to sobs at that point. "I did want to take your hand. BEN'S hand" MY HEART. "how rare and beautiful it is to even exist" YOU HAVE SLAYED ME COMPLETELY. THE COMPLETE TENDER AND LOVING LOOKS ON MY BABY BOY'S FACE WHEN HE SEES HIS OTHER HALF ALIVE AND THAT SMILE AFTER THEY KISS. THE FIRST MOMENT OF TRUE HAPPINESS IN HIS LIFE!! oh wow I just thought of another Spuffy parallel!! Xander's quote to Spike "Tell me when you saw Buffy alive that that wasn't the happiest moment in your entire existence" eep!! That fits Reylo!! hehe Okay for real this video was so moving and emotionally gut-wrenching. I love you for making these amazing works of art that let me feel everything it is that I love about this otp to end all otps! lol you just know how to tell the story in such tender ways...I don't know how else to articulate it but I hope you know how appreciated you are by me and by anyone lucky enough to see your videos! I can tell you have an amazing heart and soul and I honestly feel a connection to you because we think in such a similar way! It's so true, Rey is portrayed as more naturally light, but there is a part of me that wishes we would have seen her struggle with her darkness more because I do believe they both had equal light and dark inside them and it was just about which one they gave more power to. Some people are really blind I tell you, when my friend told me about the first two movies before I watched them they were like "oh he tries to kill her, but then sometimes he saves her so we still don't know if there's something there" and now I'm like HOW DID YOU NOT SEE IT?!?! The "two that are one" really hit me hard when I edited it as well and the "reach out with your feelings" with their hands reaching out wasn't even planned, I had the quote ready and then was like omg! they actually reach out to each other with their feelings!!1 The lyrics "light carries on even after death.." honestly killed me, like i can't even handle it now so I perfectly relate to taking a sledgehammer to the heart, but oddly enjoying it at the same time haha, except I'm doing it to myself lol. And I didn't pay much attention to the shot of them laying on the ground together at first, but I saw it in another edit and realized how powerful it is for some reason..or just how tragic, but it makes me feel things. Makes me think of what the scene would look like when they were in Snoke's room in TLJ both unconscious and Rey leaving him there... AND THAT TENDER/LOVING/INNOCENT/FULL OF PURE WONDERMENT look at the end hits so much harder with that song right?!?! That look he gives after he kisses her will always be my favorite moment ever. And omg the Xander quote is sooooo perfect for this, Spuffy and Reylo really are so similar! Kylos conflict to turn to Ben makes sense a amazingly made character for what we had.. Rey a palpatine, fought with anger and frustration, made into a jedi from nothing at a old age.. confused and scared. It would have made sence for her to accept palpatine a offer and make a more dramatic sence with characters sacrifices

My tears started flowing when the song picked up and it was the scene of Ben holding Rey and looking in her eyes when she woke up. After watching it the first time, I watched it again.
