Ben knows exactly when to say "Still theory.", that's why he gets paid the big bux
@Tophbbq7 ай бұрын
Based on what Ben said at 5:04, it is not Ben's opponent who is accused of reverse cheating, but the guy in the arena who is rated 2430.

Gaseous reflux I think. Could do with a multi strain probiotic reboot, preceded by a herbal knockout of whatever there right now and figuring which fodmap sugar is causing the issue. That's how i solved my issue after long and scary failed medicational route.

@@kevinstrand4596 I had to try and cram as much info into those words as possible 😂 Reflux is no joke though, I was on a litre of gaviscon a month plus Omeprazole, doctor's advice. I no longer trust doctors! For anybody else concerned, you should also think about sleeping position, and, don't eat or drink close to bedtime. If you have throat issues, resist the urge to make the "hehem" sound to clear it, and sip water instead.

Maybe Ben can go over this game I've just found on KZbin. A real treat! The Master of Defense playing an offensive juggernaut- Boris Spassky v Anatoly Karpov in a Kings Gambit must win game for Spassky. See YT video: "World Cup Chess 1982 - GM Boris Spassky v GM Anatoly Karpov" It doesn't get better than this!! 😳

What's reverse cheating? Using Stockfish to make sure you never play a good move?

A beginner obviously. Some people are so bad that it makes you wonder if they’re for real or just wasting time.

Whats reverse cheating

Using an engine to find the best moves and then not play them, thus losing in a tournament when you should be winning because you're 2400 and your opponents are presumably much lower rated, question mark. This is only a guess based on the context. It should be noted the comment is probably a joke because nobody does this.

I saw someone make a modified version of Stockfish which always makes the worst move possible. It would try its best to get checkmated and lose all its pieces.

Okay but imagine this: A player uses an engine in an otb tournament...to play all the worst moves. 😂 The arbiter is confused because while technically the player cheated, he did it by helping his opponents win. He's then forced to disqualify all the cheater's games, which causes the winners of those games to actually lose out on the points, which could possibly deny them a good score for the tourney. Kind of a 200IQ move tbh 🤔Now that's what I call a "spite check"
