Ben's Tours--Tel Megiddo

Each installment of Ben's Tours takes you on a visit to a special place. This time join me as I explore the grounds of Tel Megiddo National Park in Israel. This fortified biblical town is strategically important given its commanding vantage point overlooking a valley and ancient trade route. Still an active archaeological dig, 26 different layers have been excavated, going back some 5000 years. And of course the site might most famously be known from the Book of Revelations, which declares it the site of the final battle at Armageddon.
