As an environmentalist I can’t stand this girl. She should look at some actual solutions that won’t destroy our way of life, not simply yelling at politicians. The government is too slow and inefficient to do much of anything. I believe that it is the private sector that will crack this down over time. The media should praise the people that are actually doing something. Lol If they’d let us do our job, these problems they screech about would have already been solved. They’re the ones stopping us from making new strides to get to 0 emissions. Honestly,. Nuclear reactors are so incredibly well made now that there’s no real danger to the environment or the personnel. But all the reactors we have now are all old and they won’t let people renovate three or implement the new innovations, and then when problems happen, they say, “See! This is why we can’t have nuclear power!” We could have mini nuclear powered devices all over buried underground taking care of all our cars and homes right now easily and have 1/8 the cost in energy. Those are far less intrusive or destructive and far more cost effective than wind for sure. Wind turbines are horrible for the environment and cost far too much to the ecosystem and in dollars to be a solution, and yet, that’s the left’s solution. I’m particularly interested in geothermal energy myself. I think there’s a huge thing I could see coming from that that would also help reclaim land as well. That’s a whole long discussion in its own though.
