Here's an argument: In this video Ben Shapiro claims that "...according to the Anderson School UCLA (which is UCLA's business school that has never done a study on trans people, what he meant to cite was the Williams Institute UCLA) it makes no difference... as to whether people recognize you as a transgender person or not" and that "the idea that 35% (it's actually around 41%) more transgender people are committing suicide because people are mean to them is ridiculous. It's not true and it's not backed by any science that anyone cites." That last sentence is very funny because the study he cites literally says that exact thing. In the Williams Institute study (which you can find here: williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/wp-content/uploads/AFSP-Williams-Suicide-Report-Final.pdf) they specifically say "Respondents who experienced rejection by family and friends, discrimination, victimization, or violence had elevated prevalence of suicide attempts.' The conclusion to the study lists two main reasons why trans and gender non-conforming people commit suicide at a higher rate: discrimination and mental health factors. Ben Shapiro is either a lier or made up a conclusion to a study that he didn't remember. Either way he made up facts to make his audience feel justified in their bigotry.

The study is also just a fairly interesting read anyway (for example, did you know that trans people who think that others can easily recognise that they are trans (non-passing) tend to have a higher suicide rate compared to those who think others can't tell (passing)? He isn’t though?... There’s scientifically evidence to being transgender, their brains are closer to the gender they claim to be. Sex is what you’re brown as, you cannot change that no matter how much you try, so whatever you’re born as is what your sex is. However gender is a social construct made by society, similar to how pink is known as a girls colour and blue is known as a boys colour. :) It’s different to things like age and race because they’re biologically set into you, age is not a social construct and race is not a social construct, but gender is. Therefor his “common sense and facts” are extremely wrong and not facts.

dunno mate, it's just kids playing outside doing stuff together. It's really weird to divide them by sex. In my country it's just "scouts" and there is no separation between sexes. This argument was really scenic trick based on the faulty everyday language we use.
