Probably not; it is a common tactic to deflect criticism. (even if she truly has jewish heritage, which I don't believe, but even then, what does that even mean practically??). I see it a lot with people around me who can best be described as 'jews of political convience'. They are completely non-jewish, except when they want to add weight to their Israel-hate. Suddenly they, because of their tribal affiliation, are the foremost experts to 'call out israel', even more so than all the other people in their tribe, who of course are wrong because they just toe the tribal line. It is possible she's Jewish. I took a DNA test which showed that my Mexican family was descended from Spain, and my last name was a Jewish one from Sephardic Jews that were forced to convert to Christianity by the Spanish king, or be removed or killed. So, it is possible that she has Jewish heritage. However, I still identify more as a Son of God because of Jesus's work on the cross, than my DNA. Because as Paul said, the flesh doesn't help you at all when it comes to salvation.

Most all Mexicans have European blood. Spain back when they controlled what they named Mexico(Aztecs had another name for it and the capital was located closer to the coast not Mexico City)they got the bright idea that in order to keep control of the local population while they kept marching their army across lands they would breed with the local population. I think she faded out on her own. You cannot meme a politician to the presidency. It worked with Trump because he had no voting record, and he didn't need to kiss any asses (although he did with Jews). AOC screwed her voters as soon as she got a hold of some power. Shapiro rwsponded wisely. I am from Puerto Rico and this is not impossible. Our first citizen was Irish XD So... Cortez is a Roman last name (any Latin name ending in "ez" or "es"). That means the Romans registered her family as Christian. Any Jews that were escaping persecution during the Spanish inquisition had non Roman surnames. Does this mean she doesn't have a Jewish ancestor? She probably does (like everyone else more likely does) but to use that distant ancestor to gain legitimacy toward a Jewish crowd is pathetic.
