There is a video where he called people who eats meat, and consume dairy products, gen0c1der, s1av3r, and such such. Later on, he peddled back on this position due to having some form stomach disease developed by the lack of nutrient found in animals, ironic. He has been quiet on the whole animal killing bad, vegan good thing. Alex is really treat of a human being, as alot his views contradict itselfs, as he put it, a real "cognitive dissonance".

People who "own their determinism" yet still debate... yeesh. Have had the displeasure of seeing that a few times. It's weird to me that someone can knowingly accept that they are pointlessly debating a topic... yet still debate it. "Yep, I don't have free will; but I act like I do", or "Yep, this argument was pre-determined and doesn't really have any truth value to it, but I'm going to continue it anyway". Man.

@@harvestcrops3983 “Arkham Asylum” Yeah makes great “sense” and perfectly “sane”? And they mock other peoples beliefs!! As i pointed out already atheists, that is fatalists and epistemological nihilists know that the conscious agent/freewill, that is rationality itself points to something metaphysical outside of this physically deterministic universe. Better for them to deny metaphysics, that is better for them to deny Truth and value/freewill/moral accountability, that is better for them to deny rationality itself than admit the SOUL/SELF/AGENT CAUSATION!! Once again, the strictly reductive materialist, atheist or philosophical naturalist manifests the very DOGMATISM of which he accuses those who believe in agent causation and in rationalizing it is willing to contemplate absurdities of which no religious believer has ever dreamed!! As I pointed out already it’s highly probable that physical determinism, that is the claim that the conscious agent/freewill is “ILLUSORY” is nothing more than a convenient comfort blanket, an ideology that they’ve created to safeguard their atheistic ideology because they are indeed clearly lying to themselves to say that they have no free will and choice in their decisions!!

By the way, you just totally and utterly refuted yourself “MAN”!! Sorry but under this strictly reductive, causally closed, atheistic, deterministic fan fiction you’ve wavered the ability to “GUESS” or “DEBATE” anything buddy as your very ironic absolute truth claims are nothing more substantive than ultimately determined noise, that is nothing more substantive than ultimately meaningless incoherent gibberish!! You’ve literally got nothing that will convince me that a child rapist and a child murderer doesn’t have freewill and choice and isn’t accountable and responsible for their own objectively evil and depraved actions!! Your world view, your absurdity, your existential crisis and your epistemological crisis not the theists!! Extraordinarily depraved claims require extraordinary evidence. What can be claimed without evidence can be dismissed without evidence as an objectively evil and depraved FANTASY!! AND NOTHING MORE SUBSTANTIVE THAN AN ULTIMATELY MEANINGLESS, HOLLOW AND SOULLESS, ATHEISTIC, NIHILISTIC FAIRYTALE!! The deterministic FANTASY is CRINGE atheism in full effect!! I rest my case!!

If Alex is a determinist then why does he bother spending so much time reading and thinking about matters of theology, philosophy, ethics etc. when his worldview would mean that he and everyone else have absolutely no way of independently evaluating the validity of any sort of truth claim? If he says "well i was determined to do this even though it's pointless", he'd be obviously full of shit because he would have the choice to stop doing it if he truly believed the logical conclusions of his own worldview - which would ironically score another point for free will.

It's special pleading that all other knowledge claims require justification, but logic doesn't. Wouldnt seculare morality = meterial morality by definition? Like if we change it to simply be naturalist morality, which would be the veiw that most secularist adopt. Then that would be by definition, meterial morality, and if that was the case meterial can be altered and that would mean moralitiy would be ever changing with no standard aka subjective. I think this is definitionaly true and it would make things a lot easier for us to cut through all this and have them just concede that they have no grounding or standard for morality.

Interesting that some many ignore that people frequently assume that evolution is a done deal.

With regard to the whole "you're an atheist for the 999 other gods, we just disagree on this last one," all you have to do is change god to "worldview" and you'll see that the same criticism applies to the atheist. Everybody thinks they're right about the state of the world, despite the fact that almost everybody else who has existed disagrees with how you would view the world. But the atheist wants to keep this privileged position of only rejecting hypotheses, never defending any. Ok, you can do that, but then you have no business being in a debate. Also, in statistics there's Type 1 error and Type 2 error. I always mix up which is which but let's say Type 1 error is a false positive (claiming something that doesn't end up being right) but in this case the atheist is exhibit Type 2 error (failing to say a true thing is true). So taking this negative stance where you just reject worldviews all day means you are automatically wrong, just a different kind of wrong.
