Interesting point: The “Gazan government.” Meaning Gaza invaded Israel on Oct. 7, no different than Arabs invading Israel in 1967 (the Six Day War). Hamas is the Gazan military not some abstract entity with permission to slaughter then hide in school buildings. For me the problem with minimizing collateral is you lost out on good soldiers and your keeping alive future enemies. No matter what at the end of this there will be resentment, no military can ever kill off an ideology without genocide. Sorry but the world that wants to genocide Israel is much larger than the Arabs in Gaza. What needs to happen is two fold, maximize damage to Gaza while minimizing the loss of your own troops and finally annex Gaza and fix their country. This worked with Germany and Japan after World War 2. To this day do you hear any Imperialist Japanese rising up? Are there any German Nazi expanding Germany and purging any minorities? The Arabs were a part of the Axis powers in WW2 and were never dealt with, that's why we can still hear Nazi rhetoric in 2024. This is the setup for the final conflict to end either the free world or the old world, but whatever is left after should make another "never again" moment for us which we will forget about in 80 years and repeat.

Israel's rate is about 1.1 - 1 which, as the narrator was saying, is the lowest in modern warfare.
