People don’t know the mental health issues Ben went thru. His sister accused their half brother (now his agent) of raping them as children . Then she tried to kill herself. Other stuff too but he lost his love for ball after all that and I guess it showed . For some people ball is their therapy for others it’s a job and they need their life right to play well

I didn't know about that, that is also information that is important to the story. Although the allegations turned out to be false, this surely had an effect on Ben regardless. These guys are more than just basketball players, and sometimes we forget that.
