I've already got a couple of comments about Rambo. While he does have an ability that makes him not miss I'm wondering has anybody tested this out? Ben's ability says that hero skills with 100% hit rate get around it. I'm wondering since Rambo only affects attacks that it doesn't necessarily count as a "skill" and instead just damages the shield.

Not according to top war. Only Rockfield is immune.

Several weeks ago I tested Rambo defending versus a Ben attack... It did NOT go well for Rambo... Thus having Katy, Li Hongyu or Bell as one of your defenders is desirable for those that use Army as their primary defence

@@WGtopwar Yes 🥺 Thought I was going to groom him for my 3rd on Army defence. Hence the desire to test. It feels like he should; but several tests indicate a 100% failure rate to bypass Ben's shield 😓

The problem with defending is that you loose your attack buffs. Only way to mitigate damage is to have defensive heroes, defensive base skin and defensive decors.

question: what do you think of just Bradley/Ben? with Bradley's exclusive (@lvl 5 increasing damage 20%) plus his defense ... I think he may make a incredible combo with Ben? Katy is probably better, but Bradley really shines with exclusive @ lvl 5. Maybe when I get 3 hero (sometime in 2023) ... I will make a Katy, Ben, Bradley trio. Most of the "whales" on our server and what I have seen in EL have Katy, Ben, Amalia as the defacto 3 hero for Army.

Bradley is definitely a good hero and his exclusive can make a big difference. But I think Katy, Ben, an Optimus prime are all better on offense Bradley's place in my opinion is best on defense replacing Ben

Love your hero spotlight series... Just have a question... When bailos was launched, her event to get her with gems was not launched in my server any idea if the event will be available again or will I have to purchase her directly from a pack?

You will likely have to purchase her from a pack. Getting heroes with a slot machine gem draw is usually only done when the heroes released.

Could you give me some advice on army hero defence…I have 5 star 120 Katyusha, Ben, Amelia, Dante and optimus prime…my Bradley is still level 4, lvl 80

I would recommend Katy and Bradley. And do your best to get Bradley's exclusive skill ranked up because at level 3,5, and 7 it gains damaging increase. I believe it is 10, 20, 40% for each of those levels

It's okay for early levels but eventually you're going to have to replace Rambo with another orange hero

Well it says hero skill in the description of things that get through so I don't think an attack can get around the shield I think it has to be a triggerable ability such as bellevue's missiles for example except she has the chance to miss so they don't count

The exact phrase I'm paying attention to is "enemies who have skills" so in normal attack with a 100% hit chance doesn't seem to fall in that category if we're going by the strictest definition of these words. Which granted this game has had translation issues before so it's possible I'm over analyzing this. But since it says skills someone like Rambo who gives units a 100% hit chance doesn't seem to fall into the category because the thing doing the damage is not a skill just a normal attack. Someone in another comment mentioned Rambo doesn't get around the shield it attacks it like anything else would. Now that I've had more time to think about it I'm wondering if 914s ignition would damage the shield or the unit. It is a skill that if someone's affected with is guaranteed to do damage when they attack. But I suppose these are very specific circumstances it's not too hard to get through Ben's shield. Especially since Air Force and Navy regular units are going to take out three charges of the shield since it's the beginning of the battle and they will definitely be hitting three units

EL will be dropping within a few weeks. anyone know if being in a top alliance better than weaker alliance for EL?

The top alliance is generally going to have the most active people so it's always the best option. And apparently during EL there's certain things that are controlled by specific alliances and not the whole server. So definitely pair with the strong people

Better to work as a server and jump into top alliance. Best to set differences aside and everyone who’s participating hop into the stronger alliance.

It's better to be in the top alliance with the most active players because you can get the most done. Working together as a server is a good thing and should be done. But you will grow faster in a strong alliance and most likely perform better in events even EL with a strong alliance

Yeah we've been talking about him and some of the comments. People have been saying he still hits the shield he doesn't get around it. That's probably because the skill says any hero skill with a 100% hit rate. Rambo just makes an attack not miss but it's not actually a skill hit if that makes sense

Navy would likely be the best overall for pvp since air is so rare. And the best Navy make up at the moment would be Akatora, 914, and bailos. 914 could be replaced with bassel on defense since he suffers on defense but it would still be a solid team

@@WGtopwar I still feel army with loads of troops as u can have as many as 700-800 tanks . Fill up the base with Shreks . And have Brad + prime + kat ... All with level 7 exclusive ... And guess u can easily face atleast 10-12 attacks , even from good whales ...

From a purely defensive perspective army is better because of the defense in-depth tactic you are able to take advantage of. But for that same reason Navy is superior for attack. If you want to burn someone's base you're going to need to get through all of those tanks.

For $50k i would work on army and navy. $50k is too much.. u can get it done with at most $15k and that's with max perks and its easier to do that now compared to before Akatora and Bailos was added.

Level 7 exclusive : 1.5k each = 3*1.5 = 4.5k Level 7 rare skill : season sales = 900 each , 3 heroes *4 skills each * 900 = about 11k Cost of 3 heroes = about 30.5 k . About 10 sets of deco = 10*200 $ = 2k About 10 base skin = 2k Comps , rss, sppedups , nameplates, miscellaneous = 10-20k atleast. Total for semi whale gm with perked and fully equipped 3 heroes = about 45-55 k So that's not having another 3 heroes of other kind , unless u grow them organically , which gonna take forever ...

Rambos skill should work but I’ve seen recent reports where it didn’t. If you have Rambo defending against Ben then you’re probably going to lose and rockfield only works for Air which isn’t great against army. Akatora has been the best I’ve seen so far defending against Ben.

Yes bumblebee is essentially a purple hero with a slight boost so he is better than any purple hero but worse than any orange hero

I will add to say; yes, SSR Bumblebee is slightly better than any SR hero. However, a fully and properly perked SR hero is far superior to SSR Bumblebee.
