I'd love to see Ben White at United. Good tackling and amazing passing range. Young and English. And for the naysayers out there, Mike Phelan had gone to scout Ben White and Kalvin Phillips. He looks absolutely class. Stays on his feet, times his tackles well, composed on the ball, decent range of long and short passing, decent in the air, reads the game well. When he has to commit to a tackle and go to ground he wins the ball. I’m not sure what he’s like as a communicator/leader, but if he’s got that in his game or can learn that he’ll be a top top player.

Looks the real deal here and when I've seen him at Elland Rd. He does go in, all in, though his timing, and reading are so good he makes it count. Looking at this show reel I can't believe the times he avoids injury. But what lovely passing. I'd love to get him signed. His future is obvious. England's holding midfielder and captain. I know' he's on loan, but I really hope he will sign and stay with LUFC for long time. Off course this is my hope. It's not up to me to decide. He gave a lot to Leeds this year, but Bielsa gave to him a lot too. He know how to keep the position, to tackle in the right moment, his right foot is very sensitive for long passes, he's cool in difficult situation, he's perfectly aware of the position of his teammates. Who knows what the Leeds management will do for the next year? And, despite we miss just one point to be automatically promoted, this point is still to be got. I hope, 1. for the promotion and 2. to keep all the good players that grew a lot this year. And to hope is free...

He's a great centre back, despite he has, as you can see in the last game, some problem when his opponent is an huge centre forward that receive the ball with his shoulders opposite to the goal - I'm Italian and I don't know how to describe it in english - Ben White is not strong enough to avoid the centre forward to turn 90 degrees and shoot on target. Nevertheless I don't think is a good idea to make him increase his weight to contrast these situations. So, I think he is a good centre back in the Leeds way to play. I don't know if he is or can become a top class centre back in absolute.

@@MONKYLAYR I mean, I just hope Ben White will stay with Leeds United, but in the same way I am aware that this player was on loan and if Brighton wants him back, there is very few Leeds can do, except than offer money for his contract. Anyway, if Ben White will play on next season for Brighton, I hope the training staff will not force him to gain more weight in order to become "stronger". Believe me, he's good as he is. Yes, he can have some problem against a huge centre forward that plays with his back on the goal and turns 90 degrees to shoot. But I don't know how an increase of muscular mass will affect all the other excellent attitudes he has.
